    Leave it until you have a problem. Oil gallery gasket failure will not affect the engine performance or cause any engine damage. Could possibly run another 83,000 miles before replacement may be required.

    Not worth the hassle or expense. Break the habit and Just get a small pressure gauge or a small tyre inflator compressor.

    The corroded "W" bracing should be replaced at the same time as the kidney brackets. The other corroded panel which runs the width of the car behind the fuel tank can just be removed.
