  1. Yep straight swap, only thing you wont get on the JDM cars is the time displayed on the multifunction dial (as its on the BOSE in the JDM's) Other than that everything is converted. Dan
  2. I think they are more designed for Turbo applications and to give the idea of the Ram affect (minimal really). Ive always been told the best cooling aid is a vented bonnet but Im not basing this on any science more hearsay
  3. I would budget £500 - £800 on parts depending on application type Im running Fidanza flywheel and Exedy OEM type clutch MartinMac is running JWT
  4. Yep its a dual mass flywheel and the tension can wear over time. My clutch outlived my flywheel. Doesn't mean you cant replace with a single mass flywheel that has been lightened and balanced aswell for some added va va vroom. Envy or ZmanAlex are the guys to speak to
  5. I wont provide any valuable input really but I have never met such a thing as a good cheap mechanic. You get what you pay for these days
  6. Single wiring harness cover for me please
  7. Bit rude but hilarious!! - Mods remove if too risque
  8. You number chaser Rob To be honest most engine tuners will not quote figures for a number of reasons usually because every car varies on application and if you dont achieve the 10-15bhp your'll be disappointed.
  9. man that is soooooooo 2008 Look good, should of come out the factory with a black roof

Envy have a location on Newcastle, if you are based in Sunderland that not too far away
  11. Just to bring this back to original topic and not suitcases.... you find this with all cars unfortunately, when they become affordable the masses (non enthusiasts move in) give it 5 years when all the masses have gone to the 370z and the forums will change for the better If you have a look at the older forums your'll be surprised how technical some of them have become and not 'chav'. A good point in question is the Vauxhall Nova. 5/7 years ago you would laugh at people in these. Now if you go on the forums all the guys that are left are through and through enthusiasts who love playing with the old 8v engines and are doing some crazy things with them. Similarly you can see this same trend with the mk1 and mk2 MR2's. Peugeot 205s and even the 300zx. Citreon AX are very sort after now and look at the escort's. Its just part of the circles. Unfortunately we're in for alot of crap and spam on the forums for the next 3/4 years.

  16. Damn, look a horrific failure there!!! I was actually looking at a set of the SPC (Eibachs) yesterday and looked a very nice bit of kit. Correct me if Im wrong adam but isnt this the 2nd Kenitics thing that has failed, the first being the upper plenum? Dan
  17. Looks very cool, Where about in Guildford are you located? Dan
  18. Up on St Lukes Square, Bone Stock 05 plate
  19. HAHAHA I've just realised I have 3 cup holders and only 2 seats .... Sorry Spam POst but made me laugh!
  20. Just to add my experience to this, I'm running Bilstein b14's on the zed and even at the lowest settings they are beautifully smooth. I had a play with Jon's Teins, as bought from ZMANAlex and was blown away by the quality of these bits of kit. And run FK's which were (Sh!t3) on a previous car and swapped them out to bilsteins. I think its another case and point of .... you get what you pay for
