  1. ha did anyone else get REALLY worried when it was loading and went all the way up to 100%? I got 30%, pretty bad seeing as when I did a similar one a few years back it said I made Chuck Norris look like a bender.
  2. Ye as already mentioned, if you are in a final salary scheme it is worth keeping up the payments. I'm a trainee IFA at the moment, been a bloody nightmare in the last few months trying to manage peoples money effectively. For some peculiar reason Russia's economy seems to one of the few that isn't being greatly effected by this credit crunch business. I haven't looked into the property market situation out there though I must admit. Now the government are cutting the basic rate of tax in april it also means you get less tax relief on your pension contributions, so if you want to keep the same gross contribution going in you need to alter your net payment upwards to the tune of 2%. Most people couldn't give a hoot though to be fair.
  3. Pretty much the spec I'm leaning towards going for! I'm not buying for a few months though (you'll be pleased to know ) Good luck matey and be sure to post pics once you get one.
  4. oh so NOW I remember why I never watch fifth gear. Was alright, I was really looking forward to the RS6 review too....but that wasn't exactly a feature to write home about.
  5. Shouldnt be any punishment other than the 3 match ban IMO.......it wasnt mailicious in the slightest and if you start punishing people for strong challenges then it will ruin the game! Yes it was late and clumsy but it wasnt anywhere near what Roy Keane did to Haaland a while back. I'm a Man Utd fan so maybe slightly biased but I wouldnt wish that on anyone!
  6. thanks for the comments guys! Takes some doing keeping it that clean I'll tell you that much. Used a poorboys sealant on it in those pics, gives it a lovely shine and brings out the metal flakes when the sun makes a rare appearance.
  7. Man if it was in a few months time I'd snap your hand off.....slightly over my budget but f*ck it, I'd live off nothing but pasta for a month to own that!
  8. sex on wheels. *cough \/ \/ \/ coguh *
  9. ha cheers, dont take it personally....I used to drive a diesel but I soon saw the light Will be put up for around £5k in a few months, that and some savings should do nicely as a deposit come summer time Much as I love it, I live out in the sticks somewhat (as you may have guessed from the garden !) so in winter it is a real handful to keep clean driving up and down country lanes.
  10. Well its sunday and raining which means my plans to give the car a good clean have been quashed...... so I thought I would shamelessly increase my post count in some way other than insulting Zedrush for a change This is my current car which will be sold soon to raise funds for a Z! Its a 1.8T with a few bits and bobs currently running around the 220-230bhp mark. Comments good or bad actively encouraged.
  11. So is there actually any point in de-catting at all? Minimal power gains/potential losses and a bit more nosie. Might aswell just fit a K&N filter My golf is decatted but that gained me around 10bhp, and its a PITA come MOT time. Luckily I know a man who can but that is besides the point.

    How much????

ha, ye I was just going to say you can pick up a 360 for £50k now! Replicas are the sutpidest thing ever, I would be put off owning a ferrari due to the "poser" iamge, let alone a bloody replica!
  13. haha in fairness, its half the reason I signed up

    My Nismo Azure

I know you didnt want comments on the car but its pretty much PERFECT mate! third pic down has just found its way on to my desktop background! Love the 4th one down too!
  15. nothing more than he sees in himself, evidently
  16. I was very very close to putting a deposit down on a new R26 230bhp megane before I decided to go for a used Z instead! 265bhp with a re-map, LSD as standard and handling to put the majority of "sports cars" to shame. Love the advert too........for me it was the RWD and better interior of the Z that swayed my decision.
  17. ooh this is right up my alley haha. Someone order a taxi for Benitez?
  18. haha! I love nothing more than cheap shots at scousers.........brilliant
  19. whats the kit on the top one? looks almost porsche-like!
  20. ye, no offense but I would certainly rather buy it with the standard wheels! If you still have them, might be worth shoving em on and selling the new ones seperately on ebay etc......and then dropping the price a little maybe?
  21. not even a footballer would pay £150k for that
  22. ye direct line is a bit of a con though, named drivers only get discount if thye decide to take up a policy with direct line.......and I'm not sure what their policy on modifications is! I have my own policy and NCB anyway, just added parents on as they see it as spreading the risk so you get a lower premium.......even though I'd never let the dopey bint anywhere near my car haha!
  23. Cheers for the warm welcomes guys.....I knew cheap insults at a fellow member would attract some comments! Oh I am already with elephant with mum added on policy to bring price down, I've been trying all the tricks but cant get it below £1300. Like I say though relative to the cost of the car/performance/my age I dont think that is extortionate. I want one now! haha
  24. Hi guys, I got directed here by a man by the name of zedrush on another website. From what I gather though nobody really likes him anyway so maybe you dont recognise the name ! haha just kidding matey! My name is Rik and I officially started my "Z-fund" today by going and buying £2k's worth of premium bonds to stop me from pissing it up the nearest wall. After I've sold my current car (230bhp mk4 golf gti) and saved a bit longer I should, with any luck have a decent sized deposit for a nice Z. I'm 21 so any advice on favourable insurance companies would be great, although I have got it down to £1300 so far which isnt too bad all things considered! Great site anyway, keep up the good work and I'll be keeping a watchful eye over the for sale section Cheers
