Plenum spacers......excuse my lack of knowledge but what are they, what do they do for poerformance and how do they do it? Also who make them, where can I buy them (bigphil per chance? ) and how much. At a guess I would say its some sort of device to effectively increase the capacity of the inlet manifold? But thats just guess work, it took me a weekto realise a pop charger was just a fancy name for an induction kit

glad its not just me, you can tell its quick but only by the speedo!Its good because the mrs used to shout at me for driving fast but now she barely notices went out in my mates chipped focus ST (~265 bhp) and thought it would slaughter me after sitting in the passenger seat but when we both went out for a play there was hardly any difference.

yeah that what I expected! maybe not quite as flash but at least a flip out with a Z badge where the bentley one is on there! sounds to me like anyone with some spare time and the necessary skills could make a decent whack converting peoples keys into something cooler..... and being as most people have spares it wouldnt even inconvenience them too much.

only thing I dont like is the cheap tacky key! I expected a flip out thing with a big cool metal "Z" on it Oh and I seem to have to really concentrate to put it in 5th or 6th without crunching it!

IIRC blueflame make (or have made at some point) the standard exhausts on some TVR's and Bentleys. Thanks for turning me off the Nismo, I really cant afford to splash that much on a tube of steel

Hi all, I've had the car all of a week now and already want more of THAT noise! Thing is though my last car had a loud exhaust and its one of the reasons I got rid...last thing I want is drone on long journeys or even loudness at low revs. I just want full throttle moments to be that little bit more operatic. Is nismo my best bet? Because to be frank I'm too tight to pay circa £900 on an exhaust (especially when performance gains are nil!) Or is there anything else on the market? I know on the VW scene blueflame were highly rated as the more refined end of the scale, do they make zyztems for the Z? Oh and I want it to look similar to standard too, maybe a bit more shiny though

Im 6 ft 3 and as previously stated it is fine! Its actually really quite a big car, plenty of leg room for peter crouch in the passenger side too. I'm pretty certain my steering wheel doesnt adjust, unless I just havent found out how to do it yet?!?!

ha well I've had the car less than a week so I'm not quite brave enough yet! just aswell,almost had it step out on me in a straight line the other day changing from 2nd into 3rd at full chat when it was a bit wet. Lesson learned there

I have this too, 04 plate! I think it is more to do with gear change technique as if I change slightly less aggresivley then it doesnt occur. Its odd as the power just completely cuts for a second or so, then picks up almost like the lag of a huge turbo!

ESP was off but the old man had just mowed the lawn and didnt look impressed so I lifted off earlier than I really wanted too! Its a shame the sun went in, had just applied some poorboys sealant that really made the metal flakes in the paint glisten!

Apologies for the poor quality but it was theatening to rain after I had spent all day cleaning/waxing it so I did rush them a little! Couldnt resist a little bit of mischief New month I will be ordering some z badges,pop charger and possibly tinting the windows, then saving for rims and exhaust! Will probably order a stubby as soon as I decide which kind I want! The car has exceeded all my expectations, I am gobsmacked by how good it is and everyone I have given a ride in it says the same!
