Its a joke how easily 130+ can come about - you really have to watch the speedo on the motorway to ensure you never break the 70mph limit, which is obviously illegal and very very naughty indeed. Am I right in thinking the UK cars are limited to 155?

ye as already stated, its because it technically isn't a track so just stating "track driving not insured" doesnt cover them. Its amazing how many cars crash 2 miles down the road from the nurburgring though

I dont mind doing my bit for the enviroment. I recycle and everything but it just really peaves me off that the motorist gets punsihed in the name of saving the world when America and China pump out all that shizzle from the industries everyday and refuse to do anything about it. It makes the idea of switching to a more economical/less CO2 producing car seem utterly pointless.

I've been revising for my CF5 exam which is on tuesday (Integrated financial planning) and will be all day tomorrow too. If I pass that, then thats me finally fully qualified as a financial adviser which means more money and therefore more goodies for the Zed

Hi guys, My Z has been crunching into 6th gear since I got it, I have got used to it and can avoid the problem by letting the revs drop off before selecting 6th. Obviously this is not ideal so I would like to get it fixed. I know a few people have had it done under warranty, but mine is sadly out of warranty (and it was a private sale ) How much am I looking at for it to be fixed? I would most likely not use Nissan but an independant specialist (I find them cheaper and infinately better!) Is it likely to cause further damage if left as it is?

what he said! You should be able to get more than 17 - I get that when I'm being naughty but for normal driving you shouldnt get less than 20

The guy who runs it is a legend, has been doing it for about 20 years so knows all the marshalls etc and can *usually* get you out of the sh*t if you bin it etc. We did a long weekend which included autobahn sessions and even go-karting which was a right hoot.

I would say 30.1 if you do stick to 70ish Less if you use aircon, I turn mine on for quick blasts then turn it off once up/down to temperature. I only get 21mpg on average though, thats mostly urban driving.

well in essence it wasnt such a stupid question, I know a few people that have fitted the eaton chargers off the mini cooper S onto their engines. one guy did it on his 2.0 16v ibiza without even having it mapped and it worked quite well - 30bhp increase and loads more pick up on relatively low boost. I wouldnt be brave enough to do it though, the guy with ibiza was secretly trying to blow his engine as an excuse to go for a 1.8t conversion I think
