£100K  If your goal is winning at trackdays, then yeah why not. However, with even stiffer suspension, that's going to be handful of the wrong kind on UK roads.

Certainly no doubt they drift well, that's for sure!

Nope For some reason the vids don't always display properly on my iOS devices, and that's where I usually browse from. It's only when I get on the desktop that everything works.

THIS WEEK MOTHER BITCHES :D I'm actually really excited now, was watching this video earlier which I'd not seen before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wCevlrxZTd4 The way that the Kinect keeps the person in focus on Skype, and how smoothly it shifts between profiles and dash/games: Amazing. Editing and uploading video content looks great too, even though it's not something I'm interested in. It's this kind of integration that made me want the Xbone over the PS4 as this is what the future should look like, not just another games console.

Serious dickery

AMG cars have the worst paddles ever though. They're like buttons, they're bloody awful and I'd never buy on based on that alone.

If I could get one for £2K, then I'd consider it!

Couple of things: You cannot get a course for dangerous driving. That's a very serious offence that's pretty much guaranteeing you prison in all but the most bizarre circumstances (sentencing guidelines here). A course for careless driving exists though, which I'm guessing is what Ricey was on about. That said, Ricey knows his sh*t so I'd like to see proof of that, and not to be a d*ck but because I'm genuinely interested in the circumstances. With regards to being done for drunk in charge of a motor vehicle in a petrol station, I'd suggest there was more to that than it seems. Failure to pass the attitude test or more likely he was playing silly buggers would seem to be a bit more likely, although granted it's not impossible and technically he did break the law. Another good reason to make sure you never have control of a vehicle when bladdered!
-
No, you're thinking of Judge Dredd. He's the law, not God.

They are a fantastic drive, very (cliché alert!) go-kart in their handling but also very benign if you get the geo sorted. They're quite compromised as a road car in terms of practically no storage space, although I used to be able to pack for camping weekends without too much strain, but as something cheap and fun there's very little that can get near them.

When the 911 goes next year, I'm getting a Temper HR coupe. Already decided, nothing else comes close to tickling my fancy,

Hydro-environmental technician. -
Only on the motorway. Also, carrying on driving in a motorway lane that has an X above it on the gantry carries the same penalty as jumping a red light. I didn't know that until the other day.

What, racing others or as it is right now where he's winning everything? Either way, I would guess the answer is no. Maybe you don't get that ultimate thrill in beating someone else (other than in qualy and off the start line), but there's still a thrill in racing regardless. Even if that thrill is coming from besting your own lap times or simply hitting every apex perfectly, it's still going to be fun. The trouble is that every single driver on the grid would rather have be in the lead by miles and not really racing anyone rather than be battling for 2/3/4th place and maybe a shot at the win if you're lucky. The Red Bull machine (and I don't mean the car) is just too good at F1 right now for entertainment purposes.

Anyone have any experience with spinal fusion surgery?

Even if it costs you a couple of hundred quid for another opinion, it could well be worth it long-term. What price your health? -
It's a great track. The race last year was superb to watch. I'm just bored of watching drivers pootle round at 70%.
-
At idle? No. There is zero load on the engine, so it's the least-stressed time. Low RPM? Possibly. Cruising along at 70mph in 6th in something with a big V8 will give you an RPM of around 1500rp which most would consider low, but is by design. No issues there at all. However, if you're trying to pull hard from that kind of RPM in a high gear then yes, that's the worst possible thing to do as it'll be severely straining the drivetrain. It also sounds and feel horrible, which is why no-one really does it (think 30mph in 6th in the Zed: Doable, but if you try and accelerate the car hates it!). My 911 will be in 7th by 45mph, but if you try and accelerate to any degree in auto mode it'll drop a couple of gears to assist.

I would imagine selecting the connection then selecting 'forget this network' will do it,

You can have mine for £800, I won't take a single thing off it either. Just fancied a change really, I've had the '5 for two years now so time for something different.

I reckon Hugh gets closest with two MR guesses My fourth MR2. I've known this car since the first owner bought it, modified the hell out of it, then put it back to stock and sold it to another friend of ours. He then stripped it and converted it for track use, and I've now picked up a bargain as he needs the cash for a house move. Engine is standard, but it's got an Apexi intake and Cobra exhaust on either end of it. Suspension is uprated GT ARBs front and rear, fully adjustable suspension arms, and BC Racing BR:RH coilovers. Internally it's got a Sparco Sprint V seat and 3" 4pt harness on the driver side with a B&M short shifter too. Soft top has also been removed and the hardtop fitted instead, for weight savings. It's to replace the MX5 which will be departing shortly, and is completely ready to go on track from day one. Looking forward to giving her a bloody good clean and then a bloody good thrash!

It's pointless though. The 'continuous heavy snow' will be in the highlands where it always is, the north of England will see a fair bit with the odd occasional massive dumping, and the south will get the odd huge load for a couple of days a couple of times and the end of the world will be proclaimed by those living in London. It'll be cold, freezing, wet, dull and miserable. It always is, every year. They cannot predict with any certainty the weather next week, let alone in a few months, so this is just irritating headline making nonsense.

FFS stop posting this sh*t. It's winter, it gets cold, we get snow, so what?
