  1. Looks good matey On a serious note though, don't ever try and use one to put out any kind of fire on your car, they last far too short a time and you put yourself in more danger than if you just ran and called the fire brigade. I tried one once for a laugh as I had a spare one, did next to nothing and was gone in seconds. Bloody scary!
  2. I think I'm too old for crap like this. Who actually cares?

Good to know, I'm scaring myself with possible bills enough already! Definitely think I need to go have a drive. These look very promising.
  4. Not really, it's a silly question. Can you leave a mass-produced Japanese built car outside without any problems? Well of course you can! If the question had been "Is there any benefits of covers/garaging?", then that would've been perfectly reasonable. I'm not trying to be harsh, and I mean it with the greatest of respect to the OP, but this isn't the 1970s anymore. Garaging is awesome, my car lives in there, but I also don't fret when parking it outside for a long period of time. Covers I would never use, for the risk of scratching is too great unless it gets a 100% clean before you put it on. Probably okay if you have the time and/or don't drive the car very often, but it's not for me.
  5. Yeah, come on and cheat again Nico! Come on and crash off Nico! Come on and not finish the race Nico!!! Or whatever. I get money if he wins anyway.
  6. Blimey, if I was over 18 I'd have bought my own copies already!
  7. My grammar is at home baking me some cakes and then probably weeing herself
  8. You know me, subtle as a brick to the face
  9. I'm sure anyone who can read will know, given it's both behind the fuel cap and in the manual.
  10. Solar Orange doesn't exist, it's called Temper Orange in the UK
  11. You might want to read that again fella!
  12. Correct, no points but a fine of up to £1000 and withdrawal of the plate if a personalised one. DVLA pdf
  13. I once drove my car around with an umbrella over it to stop it getting wet, and then I realised there was all dirty particles in the air so I covered in in a hazmat suit, then I thought about all the people staring at me and I realised they wanted to kill me so I went home and put my tinfoil hat of protection on now nothing can get me.
  14. *Temper Orange Also, driving like an absolute c*ckweasel
  15. I cannot work out if this thread is serious or not.
  16. I'd like to have gone, but just for the parties. Jo went, and she had to to become a teacher, but otherwise I don't really see them as necessary these days. A lot of people go just because they feel that's what you do, which is the wrong attitude, or just because they don't really know what to do after school anyway.
  17. They're not, hence me posting it here rather than in their section which has now gone.

Audi S8 would be a lovely barge, I'd also look into something like the E63. The Mercs have the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in.

Mate, that's superb help, thanks! Certainly makes finding one a bit easier, plenty of coupes and convertibles around.

I can only find the swirl flap problem related to the diesels, not the petrols. Not to say you're wrong, just that a quick Google didn't bring anything obvious up. I'll have another look later.

Great stuff, thanks fella Very surprised about the fold down seats in the saloon, that would seem to be a very basic thing to have in any 4 seat car! That might well limit me, or it might not. Depends on how big the boot actually is in person, I guess. On a side note, how much access to the rear seats is there in the coupe with doors open and front seats forward? In terms of putting a kiddy in a seat in the back, doable? I thought the BMW warranty was a little more flexible than the Porsche one with regards to aftermarket parts, i.e. whilst I don't expect the engine to be covered if I strap new turbos to it, I do expect the stereo to be covered if I put an exhaust on. Maybe I've read that wrong, which is a shame. The 60k limit is definitely noted, I think I'd be looking at cars around 30k - 50k max anyways. Is there a thread on here matey where you've covered your ownership that I could have a read of?
  22. I was surprised they've ditched the V8S altogether, but I guess at that price level there's not going to be too many takers for the lesser model.
  23. C*nt. Bernie, not you Pete! I put £10 on Nico to win the title this weekend. Either Lewis wins and I'm happy enough to not care about the tenner, or Nico wins and at I'm £30 up on the deal.
  24. Erm, I think you might have that wrong. I would suggest that if you answer yes to 3 and 4, then you're absolutely going to pay more.
