  1. If you really craved his approval, you'd search using google like all the cool kids do
  2. Just checked, you can turn everything like that off. Crack on son, it'll be difficult as hell now

    RIP 911

Actually, you can include the Audi/Lambo V10 in that as well. It's all mechanical shuffling, not a lovely screamer of an engine as a V10 should be.

That's okay, that's exactly how I feel about the Ferrari V8 used in the 360 and 430. Chattering bag of spanners at idle, and doesn't even sound that great at the top end.
  5. Wow, if only someone had said that earlier today but put it in spoiler tags so as not to ruin the game for those that want to figure stuff out for themselves...
  6. Where is that table from? Toyo themselves say you can use a 235 on a 9.5" wheel without issue: http://www.toyo.co.uk/tire/pattern/proxes-r888 As such, a 235 on a 9" wheel will be fine. And that's coming from someone who really doesn't do stretch at all! And all that said, I'm going to bow out here and admit defeat. My knowledge doesn't really go too far into aftermarket stuff, so if the guys above me say you should get something different based on experience then I would listen to them over me. I know when to admit defeat on some things.
  7. Agree up to a point, but if you're in financial trouble like that you don't try and run a sports car, you either sell it and recoup what you can or you don't buy it in the first place.
  8. This thread is a good reason to stick to OEM
  9. Except I'm right In fairness, any of the options would be absolutely fine, just depends if you can get the tyres in those sizes or not.
  10. That's because the fronts are taller than the rears, the complete opposite of OEM. If the sidewalls are the same size (like in the sizes we're speaking about), it'll be fine.
  11. I've done about 20 hours, and am at 7% completion.
  12. Call me a toilet, I'll definitely get technical on yo ass
  13. Of course they do you spanner! 45% of 225 is 101.25, 45% of 245 is 110.25! All in mm, of course. That's different, is it not?
  14. Why? OEM tyres have different height sidewalls anyway. If anything, those sizes will be equal (well, 0.25 of a mm!).
  15. Yup.
  16. This is the most epic thread for necroposting ever. 2006, 2009, 2013, 2015. Awesome skills!
  17. FFS you're barely into the game! Come on man, put some hours in and crack on with it!
  18. Eh? We're using 235/45 and 265/40?
  19. I don't know on that one, I've not checked. Probably not though, I think that's a bit crucial to the tech of the game.
  20. Turn reflex off then, if you're hard enough I like the AI. Guards are pretty sneaky when they want to be.
  21. http://jalopnik.com/the-nissan-idx-is-reportedly-really-really-dead-1706363899 Dead. Thankfully.
  22. Why are we not all playing MGSV? This is the game of a generation. It's better than GTAV, IMHO. As an example of why it's so clever (in spoiler tags in case you don't want to know how to defeat an enemy really easily, but there's no story spoilers here): It's that level of genius that makes this so engrossing. Completely out of the box thinking.
  23. Oh thank god for that, I can start using Scan again then! DPD are the best couriers bar none.
  24. It's the equivalent of a pint of beer a week. If you can't afford that, you can't afford to run a 3.5L V6, Simple as that. That's not being rich or a flash Harry, a pint a week is nothing to the vast majority of the population. If you don't like it, buy an older car. Money saved all round then!
