  1. Aliveboy knows his stuff, I'd be happy wrapping harnesses around the rear strut bar too.

    Oops!!

That's halved the value of the car.
  3. Ultimately the market is economy driven, and people just want the cheapest stuff (for the most part, there are of course exceptions). No-one buys British now, they just buy the cheap tat or they moan at the price, that won't change regardless. Except more people moaning because everything is more expensive, not just the British goods
  4. But if it costs us £500m to leave in lost trade and taxes, then the NHS is actually worse off.
  5. Handling and EV do not currently go together. A 2 ton barge isn't my idea of handling I feel no excitement for an electric dragster.
  6. Surely it has to be though: As a petrolhead, I see no attraction in a car that makes no noise and has no oily bits to fiddle with.

Get the roof down now, the heater is fine in the Zed!
  8. You want two now?! Greedy!
  9. How is leaving the EU going to help the NHS? To any meaningful degree, I mean. Once we're out, we're staying out. Going back in would never be an option, not in my lifetime.
  10. Ah hang on... https://www.zap-map.com/statistics/ Charging points in the UK as of 2016: 3845 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2264588/75-petrol-stations-40-years-forcing-drivers-travel-pay-tanks.html Not even close. Petrol stations in the UK as of 2013: 8600
  11. Good find, cheers Flex. Still can't see any direct comparison numbers, but the charge points are definitely out there in big numbers.
  12. Exactly right. You'll be hard pressed to find something to sit lower, but they're usually not that much higher either. You mention about your size, regardless of big or small you MUST go and try some to see what's comfortable rather than what physically fits. Do somewhere like DT or GSM and just plonk yourself down across multiple seats, it's not always the case that the expensive ones are more comfortable .
  13. That bit didn't apply to the outdoor arena, hence why I deleted it as it wasn't relevant.
  14. Which are? EDIT: Not picking on you particularly, just trying to start a debate more than anything.
  15. Where? EDIT: As in, where on the website does it say that?
  16. Where? I can see where it offers tickets for 10 or over, but not a stand.
  17. That's Waxstock, which is meant for detailers and trade people to have stands on, not car clubs.
  18. Personally, I'm for staying in. I can't help but feel that it's going to be like the Scotland thing again: All fear and worrying and panic and made-up guesses with zero thought or facts to back up leaving the EU. Everyone will say that it's so we can control immigration (in reality, it won't change as we need cheap labour) or so we can make our own laws (actually, we do, and we even tend to ignore the Brussels directives when they're stupid: Votes for prisoners, any one?). So much negativity towards what has actually been a very successful union, for the most part. Of course it needs work, it's not perfect by any means (fishing quotas for one), but in terms of trade and industry I think it will be costing the average person more if we leave than if we stay. Ask sme people if they'd be happier to pay more to leave, and I think they'd change their minds. It irks me that I'm on the same side as the Sturgeon though, it really does.
  19. The answer is that it depends on the quality of what you're trying to stream. Netflix ask for a minimum of 25meg, which you're never going to get on ADSL so yes, you will need fibre. However, I would suggest that you'll actually want double speed fibre (76meg and up) for a reliable service. I would also suggest that buying a 4K TV specifically for 4K stuff is a bad idea until we see just how/if it ever takes off. My gut feeling is that it's just another 3D, a gimmick to convince up to keep buying new TVs when the content isn't even there yet. Also bear in mind how far you sit from the TV, as unless you're up close you won't actually see much benefit of 4K at all.

Pfft, traffic light GPs are always fun in anything
  21. Never, although this thread might be more useful with a poll

Unless you're driving a diesel or a crappy petrol turbo car, you're always best off shifting just before the limiter. That's pretty much universal without exception.
