  1. There's basically two types of roof: Plastic and fibre. They may vary in name and exact feel, but that's much of a muchness IMHO.
  2. I would personally stay with PVC/vinyl. Mohair is a nicer and arguably classier finish, but in terms of keeping it clean and tidy then vinyl wins hands down. Don't think I'd pay £300 extra for the mohair at any rate.
  3. Depends on what cats you run as well, if you're going decat then a non-res exhaust IS GOING TO BE QUITE LOUD INDEED, but if you're sticking with cats (and I would) then the non-res is the one to go for with a bit of extra tone. Cobra or Scorpion would be my choices at that price level.
  4. Costco is amazing. I don't think I've ever come out of there having spent less than £300.
  5. Set phasers to "holy sh!t why the frap didn't you buy the xenomorph!?" It's on my to do list. I'll mount my M41A above it in my Alien themed room complete with hatched egg in the corner and flashing yellow strobe lighting and Aliens style grating on the floor and... I know, I hate myself for it Basically I was still living at home and so it would've had to go in my bedroom which wasn't that big in the first place, plus at the time it would've been the equivalent of 6 months wages which was a bit excessive! Still, should've got it, you're right.
  6. ...bit like your MR2 "trackpig" then. I mean come on Dan. What does it matter as long as you're having fun doing something what you spend your cash on. This guy is obviously minted so if he wants to be the guy who owns the fastest GTR in the US or the world then I think kudos & good luck to the guy. I spent peanuts on the MR2 to get it to a point where it was quick enough but not silly quick, reliable, and needed zero maintenance. I sold it for what I paid for it. None of those statements apply (or will apply) to this monster at all Impressive engineering? Sure. But why not spend all that money and know-how on something usable, or reliable? I'd certainly like to see the dyno sheet to see where the power is made. If it's low down then y'know what, it might actually be vaguely sensible. If it's all made in the last 2k rpm, then to me that's pointless. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm not saying my opinion is the only one. I'm just saying that I personally think it's pointless, and it's quality engineering skills & time that could be better used to something else.
  7. Massive case of the pointlessnesses. I mean, fair play for trying, but that just seems a colossal waste of time and money to me.
  8. Either my Cobain Mustang, or my replica ST:TNG Type 2 phaser. I still regret not buying the 7ft tall Alien replica I saw in the US about 15 years ago. So should've just put it on the card and been done with it.
  9. Yup, that's what I use too. Just make sure it's not in your field of vision when on track though, as it invalidates the TDO insurance and if they catch you it's game over.
  10. Very good deal! Well played that garage.
  11. Well, I would. Bet I'm not the only one either. Anyways, glad the OP has found a car at last, this thread seemed almost as long as Bradders' rebuild one
  12. Speak for yourself, I'd much rather a 350 over a 370!

Just remember your mods aren't covered But yes, Admiral group do still have the odd bargain with them, so worth checking.
  14. PH all the time for me. If you do a proper advert you don't get chancers.
  15. Date booked. I'll bring cheap cider and cheese & pineapple on sticks.
  16. Not yet, but you can expect around £0.25M as a starter and if you've not already been given a place, then you're probably not getting one.
  17. Black with orange stripes, graphite wheels and the orange interior for me. Cannot wait to see these at LM this year, massive fingers crossed the GB car wins!
  18. Great news! Now when's the party?
  19. That is a bit silly though, in all seriousness.
  20. Clearly the other guy either pays more than you, or is less of a hassle than you
