Just to play Devil's advocate for a minute, look at it another way... You certainly know what you're talking about when it comes to the Zed and the various aftermarket options available to you, and were quite happy for Nissan to fit. However, even a cursory glance at the discs after fitting would quickly have revealed that the discs were fitted the wrong way, so why did it take you so long to notice? Why did you leave it so long before doing anything about it (discolouration of the calipers in mind here)? Should Nissan pay a majority of the cost when even the owner and 350Z expert couldn't tell that there was something drastically wrong? I'm not saying I agree with that, but it's always worth thinking about everything Nissan might counter with. Also I really wouldn't even bother trying to lie to them and saying that you didn't track it, as that will almost certainly come back to bite you in the arse. Be honest and you've got a fairly acceptable case for an amicable solution, but start lying and they'll start playing a bit harder.

I would humbly disagree: My car spends 90% of it's life on the road, and the bracing has made more of a difference than I ever thought possible. It gives you so much more feel from the chassis that you can push it further than you ever thought possible, confident in the knowledge that it'll give you more than enough warning for when anything starts to let go. That confidence alone is worth more than a few tenths wherever you are, road or track. Bear in mind I'm on stock suspension as well and I hate to think just how good the car would be with some really decent suspension on there... That said, and to answer the OPs question, I think that your suggestion of just doing the ARBs is a pretty good alternative as well. If you choose the right ones and don't go too stiff, then you'll actively increase the cornering ability of the car without suffering from wheels trying to jump off the road when one side hits a bump. Jables, if all you want to do is to go faster with more control then personally I'd spend the budget on tyres (I love the Michelin PS2s for their feel and wet handling charateristics, but these are proving hard to get hold of in the correct sizes recently so I would also look at the Vredestien Ultrac Sessantas), if you want more feel but with increased body stiffness then the Summit/ GT Spec bracing pack (same thing essentially) is the way to go, or if you just want a little sharper drive through the corners then the ARBs is a great solution. In an ideal world though, you'd do the lot and I'd argue that the car would be a whole lot better to drive than just sticking an expensive set of suspension on there, but that's another story...

You don't have to turn your heel, just roll your foot over between the two pedals. Is much easier with the Nismo pedal though, I must admit. I use the technique on every gear change if possible, is far more sympathetic on the clutch and box if done correctly.

I've only got about 1.5mm left above the wear markers on my PS2s on the rear, and since I've a track day coming up I thought it best to purchase a couple more in preparation for killing the current ones off. Now it might just be me and my Google-fu letting me down, but I've only found one place on the interwebs that's actually got any 245/45/18 listed, much less in stock! Okay, so there are plenty on eBay (but I personally wouldn't be happy buying tyres from there anyway), and I haven't tried my local tyre fitters as they're usually very expensive on these, but I'm sure there used to be loads of places that sold these. Are Michelin winding down that size, or do I just fail at tyre finding? It'd be a shame if it's the former as these are the greatest tyres I've ever had, and they suit the Zed so very well

It also sounds absolutely shite. You lose all the sound quality from the music, which is why the only decent solution is to replace the head unit with something decent. I tried the tape adaptor, I tried the transmitter, and the only decent solution is the expensive one unfortunately.

You can get TomTom, Nav-wotsit and all the others on the JesusPhone, but they're all very poor due to the lack of battery life and quite crummy GPS used in the phone, and even the most basic TT One would do the job far better. At least, that's what I do having read numerous reviews on them all.

Zoom isn't worth it as it's all done digitally AFAIK: Just do it on your PC/Mac when you get home. For satnav you're probably best off buying a dedicated unit right now as none of the current gen really does it all well. For finding stuff nearby just use the Maps app and search via the in-built function. Power/file management I haven't a clue, sorry! There's probably a ton of websites out there that will have the mosquito noise as a free MP3/WAV/whatever, download it from there and add via iTunes.

While you're they're you might as well do the lot, certainly no harm in it.

Umm, isn't no.6 actually a VX220 Turbo due to the dark inside of the cluster as opposed to the grey of the NA ones? /geek

If it's a scarcely used fix in cars then it really won't make a difference if it disappears.

I bet they all would've loved a piece of it, as it probably would've been a decent game as the Ukraine are pretty strong at home.

That's for the HD stream, the SD one is free. If you want the HD stream then you're probably better off just paying for the official one. Personally I'm hoping as many people boycott it as possible, if for nothing else to try and make it very unprofitable for anyone to try again in the future.

Cosworth filters are quite highly regarded on here, but I wouldn't bother with any additional intake pipes as you won't get anything extra out of them: The stock setup really is that good.

I quite like the AIT Racing one, but the other's just have too many blank spaces in the front for my taste. Ironically the AM one actually looks very nice and suits the lines of the Zed very well, but there's no way I'd ever have something that blatant on my car.

AutobulbsDirect are as good as any, and have a decent selection too. Purchased stuff from them before with no hassle whatsoever.

Horrible, vile, ugly, despicable things. If you want different shape headlights then make them, don't stick crappy bits of plastic over the top of the stock ones and ruin the lines. IMHO, obviously.

Even if it's £26 it's hardly expensive.

It's all relative though: If it costs £100 but keeps the value of the car up by £500 then it's a bargain.

Don't know, have you asked them? The actual service book itself should be relative peanuts, and they should stamp it back up to date for free seeing as how all the records are on computer these days.
