So after a few weeks you master getting in and out with the roof on. What then throws you is getting in with the roof off and worse still try getting in the passenger side. Careful when its wet also getting in as the metal floor pan in front of the "carpets" gets very slippy. Haven't tried a drive through yet but car park gate machines are always a stretch.
  2. I thought it was 650cc per rotor making it a 1.3

This made me smile. My 111S is on par with a 350Z up to 100mph and a bit quicker to 60 which is pretty quick and I get left for dead by my mates Exige 240S which is what the op's VX220 is putting out power wise.
  4. V8 M3's go through the auctions for £15k all the time.
  5. Lotus Elise, you won't lose any money if you buy right. I've had mine 2.5 years and its still worth what I paid for it. Not sure I'd recommend it as a daily for everyone though.
  6. Got myself a BMW a few weeks back also... For the seat wear, get yourself a leather touch up pen from eBay, cost about £6 and will get the bolster looking like new again.
  7. I've recently brought a 320d M sport coupe. It's a 2008 with 80k on the clock. Running on non runflats and 18" wheels it's really comfy and handles well. I'd look at approved used cars only though as mine just had the clutch and flywheel replaced under warranty. It also had an oil/brake fluid service, new disks and pads all round, new tyres on the front. I paid £10,650 and have BMW's warranty so not to worried about chain problems. My mates 2009 320d se has 215k on the clock now and only needed a clutch plate re lining and Xenon headlight bulb since getting the car 100k miles ago.
  8. When I looked into these the 200 was the one to go for as it has an upgraded running gear and lsd.
  9. I don't like posts like this, thanks Liam. I've been looking at Cayman S's for a while now and this just makes me want one even more.
  10. Move the the to its own enclosure in the boot. The stock location is unpleasant when you have more bass as it kicks in the back of the drivers seat.
  11. You can get a 335i manual but not a 335d which I believe is to do with the torque it generates
  12. Power cable from battery to amp, rca and remote lead from head unit to amp. Speaker wire from amp to sub. Unplug the Bose sub amp.
  13. Remap, DSG and launch control make the TTRS very fast...
  14. Yellow and black RCA are for the rear speakers if using preouts.
  15. Skoda Octavia 1.9TDi Elegance Spec
  16. No reverse light is not an MOT fail either.
  17. What Alfa do you drive? It seems to affect GT, 159, Brera, Mito, Giuliettas.
  18. The Alfa Rosso red is notorious for stone chips as for some reason the paint is very brittle. If buying a red Alfa expect excess chipping. My old GT was no exception and the rear arches and bonnet were covered.
  19. Roof off getting in/out is a completely different method, it throws you the first couple times as your so use to getting in with the roof on. If you didn't find it to difficult try an S1, the sill is even higher. Golden rule though is no touching, sitting or sliding on the sill as it's like cake icing and marks easily.
  20. I wouldn't recommend one as a daily and only car. Nothing really compares and the running costs compared to the 350Z are excellent. If you do buy a good example you won't lose much if any money over the next couple years, mines still worth what I paid for it a couple years ago. I went from a 350Z to a S2 111S but I also have a gen 7 Celica as my daily. I did a 300 mile round trip last Wednesday and my back wasn't happy after.
  21. We nearly took out a lease on the 1.2 Turbo tekna, was 3+23 at £275 a month. As we don't have a family yet we got the Juke for now.
  22. Very nice cars with lots of safety spec. What engine have you gone for? We're looking at one for our next car and will most likely go with the 1.2 Turbo.
