    New additions

Sorry to say but your wife's 220d being a 2015 has the newer more powerful twin power turbo B47 engine. 181bhp/380Nm vs 187bhp/400Nm
  2. I've seen a couple X5 M50d's now which must be fun with a 3.0l tri turbo diesel pushing 380bhp.

I had a z4 sDrive 2.0 recently and it had fake engine sound from the speakers behind the dash or something, It use to make me laugh.

They still do a 6 cylinder but it's now called a 340i. A 330i is a 4 cylinder turbo. It's all to do with the new modular engines they build, the 318i is now a 3 cylinder 1.5l Diesel hasn't changed yet, 330d and 335d still exist as 6 cylinder.

Pulled upto a 430d xdrive and it made my 320d E92 look tiny. Also blew my 320d away once the lights turned green. Is it running the N47 or B47 engine?
  6. My Nismo Juke is going in a couple weeks. The novelty has worn off and the list of negatives grows every time I drive it now.
  7. The 1.6 petrol is the worse of the bunch. 1.2 Dig-t doesn't produce anywhere near it's claimed mpg so 1.5 or 1.6 diesel is the one to go for.
  8. I'm not sure as the cold weather pack comes with split rear seats which are standard on the E92, heated heats and washers but I don't have heated seats.
  9. It's the simple things in life. My old E85, E92 and F11 have these.
  10. I haven't got a clue when it comes to cameras but picked up a Panasonic G7 before Christmas for £339 which to me seemed a great buy. Im still learning what it can do but it's main purpose is to capture images and videos of our new born.

    Jag XFR

Friend of mine had an XKR-S a couple years back. It was a beast and struggled to get the power down in anything other then dry conditions. Very expensive to run also, it would return single figure mpg.
  12. I've had a Juke Nismo for nearly 2 years now, it's being replaced in march with a more family friendly 520d tourer. While a very fun and quick car the Nismo in standard form can't handle the power (200bhp), the wheels light up way to easy especially in sport mode and the brakes are too small considering how fast the thing gains speed. I tried to use the power last night and the traction control just kept kicking in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. On a dry warm day it leaves my E92 320d for dead in a straight line but gets scary when you put the anchors on. Around town we get 30mpg and motorway barely reaches 40mpg, driven hard your looking at low 20's. Wouldn't mind trying an RS as it's meant to have bigger brakes and an LSD which should hopefully help get the power down and stop you quicker.
  13. Swift Sport should definitely make the test drive shortlist. Great little cars and so much fun with excellent handling.
  14. I do love the E92, one of the best looking cars on the road in my opinion. Might be a little bias as I bought a 320d M Sport Coupe a couple months ago.
  15. The first link is not the right adaptor for the bose system. You need this lead.... http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/nissan-350z-coupe-roadster-murano-i-bose-steering-wheel-stalk-control-adaptor-29-674.html?search=nissan bose
  16. £500k would buy you an awesome house in Leicester in some of the best areas, I know as I've been looking.
  17. My E92 M Sport is ok but painted lines in the Z4 were scary and cats eyes felt like speed bumps.
  18. I thought handling was one of the good things with the Z4, I took mine down to Cornwall once and it was excellent around the twists, brakes suffered after a while though. True though the electric power steering is pants and that's why they don't fit to to the z4m or E89 Z4
  19. The darting around is the run flat tyres. I'd always avoid the inside lane of motorways and pulling upto lights got interesting when the car would tramline wherever it felt like.
  20. I had a Z4 roadster before the 350Z and got bored after a while, it just didn't have that fun factor the 350Z has. They are pretty reliable and return good mpg compared to the 350. I recently had a brand new sdrive18i 8 speed auto for a week and it's put me of the new shape z4 also, again just not that fun or involving. Very capable and quick car though. I sold up and we drove a mk1 mr2 and Tigra CC when buying our first house. Cars come and go but having that extra to get the house we wanted was well worth it.
  21. Your standard Elise/Exige prices have stayed strong but that's mainly down to new Elise costing £30k+ and Exige £50k+ Special editions like the Sport 190 Elise and Exige S1 fetch top money now, almost as much as when they were new.
  22. I just used one of the many bolts that held the stock sub in place. Ran 2 amps fine like this.

    VX220

This is why i find it hard to give up the Elise, 40mpg is possible and only £180 road tax. Its very cheap to maintain also seeing as its a K series rover and sits on 17"/16" wheels.
