    Mot due

I would only take it to a mot station that has been recommended. Some places can be a real pain and pick up on faults that arent even there, but dont worry they'll offer to do the repairs for you straight away and get you back on the road in a few hours.
  2. I was concerned about this too when i first got my car, when warm its alot better but when cold you have to exaggerate the first to second gear change.
  3. Window is normal, UK cars only have auto up on drivers side. Service would be a slight concern and the clicking could be the common rear axle problem which will cost a couple hundred to fix. From what ive read on here mixing tyres is not recommended and from driving RWD cars for the past 7 years no brand ditch finders is a big NO NO.
  4. I dont think theres any aftermarket headunits that will work with Nissans built in hands free. If you had the budget by far the best sounding system using the existing bose speakers is an alpine with Imprint processor. It shows you what the bose stuff can really do as there not bad speakers. I went this route and would of kept it like this if i didnt have my amps and sub sitting around.
  5. I was disappointed by the sound, expected abit more, i also thought it was very smooth compared to the 350Z aswell.
  6. My 56 plate only had 10,500 miles on the clock when i got it last June. Its the only 350Z ive driven so i have no comparison but it feels like new.
  7. Thats cheap and i doult you'll get it much cheaper. Most specialist club insurers will only insure you when your 25. My renewal for the year was just over £1000, i'm 27 with 2 years NCD but i do have 3 points and 2 claims.
  8. Thats not a 313 either, it has no bonnet bulge. Its the same as mine but slightly newer.
  9. No sound clip will give you a true idea of how loud an exhaust sounds. It wasnt untill i heard a car with the exhaust i wanted till i finally got one.
  10. What year is it? My friend in the trade who has he's own garage recently sold a 56 plate GT with 86k on the clock for 11k. It was abit rough on the front bumper but had the Nismo alloys (possibily replicas).
  11. One reason my BMW Z4 went, the RFT (runflats) were a nightmare on our roads, the car would tramline, skip and jump all over the place. Although hard the 350Z is a very smooth ride and great at cruising.
  12. A bit of heat from a hairdryer and a razor blade should do the trick.
  13. Good old Sturgess Leicester, When i first started looking at a 350Z back in 2008 i popped in there to see if they had any to basically be told i wouldnt be able to afford a 350Z, I was in my mk1 mr2 at the time. I asked about the 350Z and was told Insurance is high, fuel/tax is high, alloys are £1000 each, engine replacement is £5000+ etc... Popped back a few months later with my 18month old BMW Z4 to have a look around again and see if the same sales guy was there.
  14. I'll be camping this weekend at JAE and i'm hoping to get everything i need in and keep my subwoofer in also. The boot is massive compared to my mk1 mr2.
  15. I wouldnt class a replacement panel filter a mod, its like putting in V power or better spark plugs/leads. Its just a non OEM branded part.
  16. The screen itself is actually glass so it should be fine using label remover or something abit stronger.
  17. These have been at this price for a long time, keep meaning to buy some.
  18. I get all my wipers from wiperblades.co.uk, i'm using there own brand aero ones which ive heard are made in the same place as the bosch ones.
  19. Had my K1 for 2 weeks now and love it. I currently have the bungs in and think its too quiet at times. I'm looking at getting some shorter bungs made up.
  20. Assuming you have bose you will need the following fascia...... http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/facia_pa ... 0-306.html Along with the following adpator and patch lead for JVC....... http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/steering ... 9-674.html but looking at that headunit it has a seperate remote control and no remote control interface so you wont be able to get the steering wheel controls to work with the above adaptor.
  21. Did you rewire the speakers back to the headunit, i'm not sure how the non bose system works but it may have inline crossovers for the woofer and tweeter and you've replaced only the woofer with a coaxial speaker. Under seat subwoofers are very limited simply due to there size. Ive had/got a couple and heard many others and i was never really happy with the results, i have an alpine SWE-1000 in my Mk1 MR2 which is one of the better ones but it is abit big to go under a seat.
  22. My car came with an Xvision kit which was 19-20mm holes, the cisbo one uses 21mm. I think 25mm is to big for any kit out there.
  23. What size hole did you drill? was it over 21mm?
  24. I may be wrong but I don't think parking sensors were ever a Nissan option. They were a dealer fit option and different dealers used different kits. My car came with them but one sensor didn't work and they were black. I brought a cisbo kit of eBay cheap for 18 pound that is pretty much exactly the same as the kit it replaced, works in the same way too.
  25. Hi mate, im the guy who was listening to your exhaust at zedfest. i loved it unfortunately the guy who was selling them on ebay is now refusing to do auctions as he was losing too much money so they are on for buy it now at £299 Thats a shame, maybe look out for a used K1, they tend to go for £150.
