Ive had my car just over a week now and do love it, it gets more comments and more people seem to like it compared to my 2.0i Z4 Roadster. I have a few questions though... 1) I checked the tyre pressures and they were around 32psi so i pumped them up to 35psi. The car seems a little lighter now and not so planted on the road. Should i go back to 32psi? 2) How should the brakes perform? It seems i really need to press the peddle to get maximum performance. I think i'm to use to my Z4 help brake for you. I really need to learn to drive again in this car, the Z4 was to easy and my gear changes are now sloppy. The Z4 turned in better but i think that would of been down to weight of a 4 pot 2.0i compared to a 3.5 V6. I find my driving isnt that smooth in the 350 at the moment, i always seem to be in the wrong gear at the wrong revs when cornering and half the time end up coasting around corners.

Consider yourself very lucky if you get a £60 + 3 point fine. If you get a court summons it could be upto 28 day ban, 6 points and £1000 fine, worse case.

You made the right choice in the end. Everyone prefers my 350Z over my Z4 i traded in to get it.

If you want to just add a subwoofer for now and keep the stock headunit then use an adjustable high to low level adaptor. Ive done this in our Swift Sport with good results. It'll never be as good as running from an aftermarket headunit with proper pre-outs but does the job.

When i had my Z4 Roadster i used the Autoglym hood cleaner and protector. It works really well and last a good 6 months in the winter, longer in the summer. I'm just waiting on a fascia and bose steering loom from sextons so i can fit my Alpine CDA-9886R. I have a load of JL gear to go in aswell but for now i'm just swapping out the headunit.

Welcome, i took delivery of my 350Z Tuesday night too. It was throwing it down but just had to go for a spin.

Even though its peeing it down just been out for a blast and wow. Even in the wet the car feels very planted. Its awesome, i love it. It has every extra going aswell including folding mirrors. Cant wait till tomorrow and i get to go work in it.

Finance has finally gone through. The car is being delivered to me tonight. Only a few more hours to go.

Impatient would be an understatement when it comes to me. Its so annoying as everything is sorted but the finance so i cant drive it away. I can just see the finance company coming up with more excuses on tuesday like they have to wait for the finance to clear on the Z4 first.

I know, i'm gutted. Going to a big party monday with all my mates aswell and all i'm going to get now is where's your new car.

I should be driving around in my 350Z GT Coupe right now but instead i have to wait till tuesday evening now, i hope. First the finance company said they didnt recieve the paper work on wednesday night which i signed in leicester and faxed over and then was put in the post to nissan who didnt get the paper work till this morning. They resent the paper work over and around 3pm the finance company said they need proof that my previous finance on my Z4 will be paid off so they sent over a copy of the cheque. Then at 5.05pm then ring to say they now want proof that the finance the previous owner had on the car has been paid off even though the car is HPI clear. And of course the other company is now closed till tuesday morning. So i have to wait till tuesday so they can get proof and send that of again. I wonder what stupid condition the new finance company will come up with next. Plus side is nissan are going to drive the car over to me tuesday night, fingers crossed. I WANT MY NEW CAR!!

Got my cleaning kit from halfrauds too, can be a little messy aswell as you get oil everywhere.

If the HPi check came back as no outstanding finance it sounds like the finance he has out is not against the car but a personnel loan. What normally happens when there is finance on a car and you want to sell privately you would ring the finance company and pay them there money first then the seller if theres anything left over, that way the car would be paid off. If you were to pay for a car with finance outstanding and the seller didnt use the money to pay it off the finance company will come and take the car away or expect you to pay for it. If he has a personnel loan which isnt secured against the car then theres no risk in buying the car as he does own it and its his own fault if he doesnt pay of the finance, they cant come looking for the car on a personnel loan. ps. Lease agreement is as he said, its like a pay as you go. You pay a monthly charge for a brand new car then just hand it back, usually aget 2-3 years.

Just the camera angle (taken on a blackberry), the car was actually covered in a layar of dust and pollen in that photo so once its been given a good wash and pollish should look even better.

I'm from Leicester too, dont see many around which is the way i like it. Car was very dusty in that pic, will take some nicer pictures when i get the car home, not that you all havent seen a 350Z before.

Thanks for the comments, cant wait till friday now. I'm use to RWD as i have a Mk1 MR2 aswell and i'm coming from a Z4 but these only have 122bhp and 150bhp so 300bhp is a big step up.

Its only taken 2.5 years since i signed up but should be signing the paper work on this tonight and picking it up friday....... Its a 2006 56 plate, 10k miles, FSH etc... Full GT Spec with Sat Nav and rear parking sensors (that need paint matching).
