Yeh it is the pre 2006 base UK non-boze model. Damn. I guess I'll go for a nice double DIN head unit then. Was hoping to do that as stage two.

I'm planning on adding a sub and amplifier to my Z but would rather keep the stock head unit for now. Could someone please let me know if it has any pre-outs connections or will I have to wire to the back speakers?

Box looks good. How easy is it to take out the stock enclosure? I take it the sub opening is to be created on the top. Could you give me the internal dimensions so I can check what will fit. Is there anything on it to fix it down so it doesn't crash about? Thanks.

Does anyone else know where I might find a box to fit the sock sub location (on the non-bose Z)? I'd rather not use a free air sub and can't justify the boot space for a box I've also been looking around for the grill which covers it as I'd rather not cut the standard one up. It is amazingly hard to find on any parts sites. Does anyone know the product code?
