  1. The Rays were optional on early GT's, it also looks the gun metal grey to me.
  2. Its a lesson almost all drivers of RWD cars face at some point, i learnt early on to be very carefull in the winter after i spun my mk1 mr2 out coming of a roundabout. Doesnt sound bad enough to be written of though which is good news i guess.
  3. As mentioned before, its not worth the upgrade. Your better of going aftermarket as the bose really isnt that great.
  4. Dont forget it will take time for the exhaust to settle in aswell, it wont sound its best straight away.
  5. Its ok i'll be getting a local dealer to find me a car and all there cars are sold with a 15 month guarantee.
  6. I dont tend to test drive cars, i just buy what i want and 3 cars ive always wanted were a Z4, 350Z and Exige. Wont be getting in an exige anytime soon, had a Z4 and 350Z now plus we already have the swift sport as a fun hatch so a nice retro looking S1 elise will be next i think.
  7. I'd put the car back to stock especially as its a GT4. I have just been looking at the exact same car as a replacement. I need to downgrade while we look for a house and apply for mortgages, think i'll go for a S1 Elise though instead.
  8. I also think the K1 with the bungs in is just about right, it sounds even better its a few months old now aswell. Mine was very cheap of ebay so i'm very happy with it.
  9. The idea of pulling away in 4th is that it should exaggerate a clutch on the way out and slip more. How many miles has the car done? It does sound like the clutch is slipping when put under full load. Same thing happened to my mk1 mr2.
  10. Mine was under the boot floor to the right of the spare wheel along with the original normal bolts. As said though could be anywhere.
  11. Not sure with mine as everyone calls it Zorro or Juicy due to the number plate ending in JSY. Was the same with my Z4, the number plate was ND07 DBO so everyone called it BOND D07, again a more male name.
  12. Even Nissan dealers dont know what they have, the amount of 350Z's on autotrader that are not what they say they are is confusing.
  13. Look forward to the review, i had an E85 Z4 and the new E89 may be on my next car list.
  14. My girlfriend always complains we park at the back away from anyone else, this is why. I wont even go near tesco's unless its late at night.
  15. As your still running the bose speakers of the bose amp you shouldnt really just replace the speakers as the bose speakers tend to be a much lower ohm then the aftermarket standard, this could cause the amp or speakers to burn out, it may work but wont really sound any better. Your best bet is to re-wire and run the speakers from either the headunit or a new aftermarket amp.
  16. From the reviews i've read the interior quality is not meant to be the usual peugeot rubbish(yes ive driven many peugeots before) and is meant to be quite good. You'd be mad to buy one of these brand new though, it'll be worth about 50p after 3 years. Would much prefer to drive around in a hyundai coupe.
  17. Ive had a cracked manifold/cat replaced under warranty before, was a BMW AUC one though.
  18. I drive round town all day and weekend and average around 15mpg, if i took it easy i'd get a few more. My 2.0i Z4 use to only get around 18-19mpg around town.
  19. £200 a year more on road tax really isnt much when you think about it.
  20. Try these... http://www.competition-car-insurance.co.uk/personal.htm they were recommended to me by the local lotus dealer, there quote was nearly as good as admiral and said it would be cheaper if i didnt have claims. They include trackdays as standard aswell.
  21. It should be the ICT 29-020 patch lead but no harm in giving sextons a ring and asking, there pretty helpful.
  22. Even resting your foot on the clutch can be enough for the cruise not to engage aswell.
  23. Top of the link i posted, but just for you... http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/facia_pa ... 0-256.html
  24. Bose or Not? The info you need is here.... viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16403 Adaptor for Bose is ICT 29-674 and non-Bose is ICT 29-645. You will also need an alpine patch lead which is part number 29-001
