  1. Your all to blame - how very dare you! Some consideration would have been nice - next time check on the forum if people have any outside work to do such as garden or painting?
  2. No I think they are still electric for movement but just not heated - also fabric is generally warm so no heater required - leather of course is like sitting on an iceblock on a cold morning!!
  3. Oh man I am not keen on the estate tbh - its like they just grafted a square bit on the back - funny thing its actually the other way round - its a dodge estate with a 300C grafted onto the front weird or what - think if someone did a roof chop on one - flames down the side - lake pipes lowered spacers of course - then it maybe pretty cool in a 1970's retro way!
  4. They dont generally put heater elements in fabric seats - probably for safety reasons - but think Volvo usd to though!
  5. 300C owners too - never wave at each other - miserable gits!
  6. Not sad mate - they are like your babies only you can take care of them properly - everyone else is just scum! We do the same when taking it for an MOT - its like its doing its A Level exam you want it to pass!!!
  7. Nice one mate glad you got a replacement so quickly just shows you this is the place to be
  8. Pics look great mate - just tweak it in photoshop to lighten a fraction if you need to ? Car looks good but be careful looks like your up to no good in a field late in the evening!
  9. T Cut do a glass polish - its a couple of quid and works really well
  10. worrying that the Volt meter is reading above 16V - maybe a short in the alternator ?
  11. Dont know of anyone on the club that has one that is not black or white but I have seen plenty of blue, yellow and red - dont get me wrong but black and white are the best colours when seen in the flesh Ok here is one I saw in yellow the other day in the sun looked ok actually
  12. +1 If you have aftermarket alarms or devices installed as generally are on JDM's your at the mercy of the installer- depends how much care they take - if its a get it in quick and dirty job as he has 5 to do that day and will get his £300 per car then he wont care, a lot of work I've seen like this has been messy - messy wiring never trimmed to length just rolled up and tucked out of sight! Half the time these cables get interference or cause interference - somehow I knew that the alarm company would deny any issues before I even got to read that part of your post! A good auto electrician will be able to diagnose it for you hope you get it sorted soon
  13. TVR - knew it looked kit car - plastic fantastic Well done you geeks!
  14. Spotted this the other day ? Any ideas? Looks like some sort of lotus to me or an early Jap such as early RX7 maybe or a Kit car?
  15. +1 yup thats a drawback as you realise how much the supermarkets are ripping us off!
  16. Cool !! Are you going for those - under garden garages mate
  17. They all scratch mate - either do a cheap fix like me - ie. black crayon rubbed on it - or respray it yourself - failing that some have covered theirs in a carbon wrap or PM Zmanalex There is always Fablon!
  18. I'm like a kid in a sweety shop in there.Took my son a few years back,he walked arround with his mouth open. Yep! Let me guess if your Costco mad like me: a) you buy a second freezer buy freezer bags in bulk c) the massive washing powder box d) milk in bulk e) cakes in bulk f) electrical toys tend to fall it the basket
  19. Nice one mate - take heed - its greasy stuff so dont wear pale coloured pants for the first 24 hours or you will end up with an orange bum!!!
  20. Ooooh white is the colour and your defanging too! Get that tub to some meets so we can all be jealous!
  21. Sorry mate only just seen this - ok thats the same that everyone gets with their seats - Ok so my original suggestion still stands. If you check the posts I have done on the subject but in short - a) Get a leather cleaner like Autoglym leather cleaner and a microfibre cloth - clean the whole seat with it follow instructions on the bottle - its gentle stuff so dont worry. Get some Connolly Hide food (about £10 a tub will last forever!) - apply a small amount via another microfibre cloth in small circles across the whole seat - dont put too much on - leave it to dry on for about 20-30 mins - then reapply a small amount more in the worn area than the rest - keep doign small circular motions about the size of the top of a coke can for example - this will nourish the leather - soften it and help regain its strengh and also smudge some of the pigment over to the leather that it damaged. I have written an interior cleaning and maintenance guide - check the interior section. All 350z's without fail will have this eventually - you can go to expense of new Nissan seats but they will also go in the same way unless you use European leather and recover - the Jap stuff is very thin and not very durable in 350's. If you look after them on a regular basis with the Hide food - it will survive quiet well. Let me know what you decide to do - or PM me if you need further advice - the next step is colouring kits but replacing the leather is really not required - its not ripped and will be ok for years yet. Hope this helps?
  22. Aye mate thats where I get most of my best stuff from (my second home)- got my Karcher from there 10 years ago it was £90 cheaper than anywhere else and still going strong!
