Ah very nice. I had the pleasure of driving one of those whilst mine was in for a service. That said, I preferred the more brutal cam shift that my 111R had, than the smoother i-VTEC pull. So why did you switch to a Z? I never wanted to let the lotus go, but was hit by some arse in an Audi, the poor little elise didnt fair up to well and nor did I So decided to go for something with a bit more protection in the event of an accident. Are you running standard suspension? if so its probably a bit of front toe thats out, otherwise camber which is not adjustable on standard suspension

My mate had a similar problem in his X5, Had a replacement turbo and then lots of smoke, turned out to be some kind of breather hose buggered, was getting a lot of crankcase pressure
