Would try the Ecu Reset first before going to a dealer, these intermitant faults can turn out expensive with dealers labour rates

I have a full KW variant 1 suspension for sale, with about 9000miles use if anyones interested + a brand new set of eibach rear camber/toe arms

Insurance companies have some very strange policies, I bought a second car last year (98mk2 mx-5) completely standard admiral £761 0-NCB(using my NCB on the zed), just re-insured it with sky/chaucer, £456 declared mods: supercharger +70-80bhp, rollbar, wheels, BBK, suspension, exhaust it makes no-sense at all. Just keep searching mate, perhaps mildly adjust your anticipated milage a little

It could be the abs controller, my mate had this in his Rover 45 shed everytime he braked under 15mph it would activate the ABS on the front wheels. Wouldnt like to say it was definately that, could be a dirty sensor, or even a worn tyre knocking the wheel speeds out
