Hi, For sale is my Nismo carbon engine cover. I bought this from a member on here, who previously bought it from ZMANALEX. Im selling it as im trying to fund an ipad2 for myself... It's in great condition, however there are a few tiny bubbles under the resin from when it was made, including the light mark just off center (which you can see in the pics). £80 please plus £8 P&P. Im out of the country from the 16th to 30th December so if you want it before Chrismas, be quick!!

You mustn't be driving seriously enough then That said, i've just fitted a set of wheels that i bought for the winter and it's on Maxxis tyres, and they're doing alright so far. I wont be giving it too much though

A guy on here about a month ago used one of those pump up garden sprayers... you know where you pump the handle to build up pressure? he said it worked a treat...

Tough one... i'd say try something like alcohol or meths on it?

Today in Macc... im assuming this was you Leon? Made me lol... I had my step dad with me and i'd just been telling him how awful my car looks on these wheels, when 2 minutes later we come out and there's a note on my car telling me the same!! This afternoon though i gave my Volks a nice bath and a wax, and them locked them away for the winter

Yep, patience is the key. Should have mentioned that you should leave 15mins between coats of primer and leave 24 hours after primer before painting, and again 15mins between layers of paint etc etc...

1. prep your wheels by sanding with 800 grit wet and dry paper 2. Wash wheels with water to ensure all dust is gone 3. mask off tyres 4. spray several thin layers of primer 5. rub down with 2000 grit paper 6. Wash wheels with water to ensure all dust is gone 7. paint with several layers of spray paint 8. rub down with 2000 grit paper 9. Wash wheels with water to ensure all dust is gone 10. paint with several layers of clear lacquer Takes about a week to do it all, with drying times between layers etc... Your painting environment is important... i did mine in my garage, but the most important thing is your painting technique. light thin layers are the key to success, from a distance of about 12 - 14 inches. If you dont get complete coverage on your first pass, dont go over it - wait until you're doing the next coat. 8.

Top tip... (it was my fiance's idea!) ...wrap the tyres in cling film while taping down the enges with masking tape. Also, i did the inside of the wheels black.

Nismo kit. I think zeds look naked without a kit.

Im a bit gutted though to be honest... i had a plan that i was hoping that these wheels would look awesome so i could sell my Volks to raise some funds for a TV that i've got my eye on (It's £2500 )... but at work this morning my mate came up to me and said "Whats up with your car? It looks different... not as good somehow". I said i'd swapped the wheels and he said "Oh yeh, it looks gay put the others back on!" ...my theory with the TV was that i look at my wheels for maybe 15 seconds a day, whilst walking to and from my car... whereas i'd look at a 55" LED TV for 6 hours a day...!
