that only works if you also add in the variable for those who paid in full and those who have it on finance. i bought mine 4 years ago when they were expensive to buy, and paid cash outright and was 26 for what i paid then i could buy 3 zeds for the same money. there are still people on here who bought them new who piad twice what i did; the demographics have changed dramatically i think from a while ago. Yeh I didn't really mean it as a competition to look who's the most wealthy, but instead to kind off see what sort or salary demographic owns a zed. I.e. is it rich youngsters, or average salary salary middle aged people etc. We all see the zed as being better than your run of the mill cars so I wondered if that was reflected in people's incomes. It's obviously not 911 or M3 money, but then they're not Fiesta money either, but are low income people driving zeds, or people with 911 money in them as well etc...

Bargain, despite the shite inside. Someone should buy it and strip it for a track car.

Watshot - what a great post. I was planning on going to rocher this year too but things have come around so quickly that I was thinking about waiting till next year. Your post has just confirmed it for me - ill just wait and do it properly next time. I love the sound of walking the track and finding some souvenirs...

Yeah I saw your review on them. I may step that way in the future - but as I have already purchased the fronts ready to go on, I thought I may as well go for the 50's on the back for a while.

I've got Goodyear Eagle F1's and cant recommend them enough - fantastic tyres in the wet or dry, and they're great on track.

You mustn't be driving seriously enough then That said, i've just fitted a set of wheels that i bought for the winter and it's on Maxxis tyres, and they're doing alright so far. I wont be giving it too much though Just to update this post since it's popped back up again... I fitted my winter wheels that came with Maxxis tyres and... they're absolute garbage. So much so that i decided not to drive my car over winter and have SORN'd it instead. On about 3 occasions in the damp, i had the car sideways (With TCS on) coming off various roundabouts, and that would never have happened with my other wheels on (Goodyear Eagle F1's). This may sound like i dont know how to drive, but i was purposely booting it to find out the breaking point of my new tyres, and found the answer quite quickly.

Would love something like this but what about having to press the clutch?

Hi, Is there a list or calendar of shows & events anywhere on the site...? I want to be able to plan my year (holidays, work committments) pretty soon, and shows and events need to be taken into consideration as i dont want to miss out!

I went on an experience day last year and the cars were taking a pounding... While not ragging it and wheel spinning etc, i was nailing the GTR and the Lambo that i drove. However most noticeably, there was a huge throughput of people there - the cars rarely got more than a 30 second break between 4-lap sessions...

I disagree, I think there's some massive characters out there right now both in terms of what they will/won't do to gain a position as well as their actual personalities, the trouble is they're so media and team-order controlled that we're never allowed to see any of it, and when we do they only get pilloried for it sadly. +1... Massa vs Hamilton... Massa actually interrupted a hamilton interview last year to argue with him. Brilliant! Im a really big MW fan too... probably the nicest guy in the sport, and arguably the best overtaker in F1 (the pass at Spa last year...!!)

So, i think enough time's passed now... what did we think of the event? For me the best fight was the Terry Etim fight - what a knockout that was!! He didnt even see it coming. The end of the Aldo fight was crazy too when he ran into the crowd... What about the No Contest verdict too... i thought that was harsh but Jo Rogan was a bit tight on the referree afterwards!

Just been reading up on the Sky F1 coverage with Virgin Media... It sounds like Virgin are only getting standard definition coverage, and thats only if you've already got Sky Sports...

Man i love F1... i've watched it since i was 9 years old (Mansell in '92). Every now and then i go off it for a bit (such as the later Schumacher years and when Alonso's been winning ) but these last 3 years have been fantastic. Im a huge McLaren fan and love the team setup they've got there. Im dreading it going to Sky too as i really like Jake/David/Eddie when they're presenting...
