You getting Nissan to replace the parts with aftermarket? I had a quote for mine being fitted (i was supplying parts) when I had my last service and they were about double the cost of other local garages....
Went for Endless pads, HEL lines and Motul fluid. Didnt have plugs done...
Just dont pay too much for it. Jessops are like the Halfords of the camera world, convienent but expensive
Not too expensive for a UK based shop with premisis... You can get some bargains but are expensive or repairs... Best to try and get it back to Nikon...
BTW you have tried the sensor clean setting on the camera?
Yeh Stew, wheels didnt get done so no tyre dressing.
Refurb happening soon, but unfortunatly the old man is in hospital so the car is going to see a few miles over the next week or 2...
Some of you may also notice there are smudges on the pics... there was a couple of watermarks on the lens... Forgot to clean the lens before I started taking pics.... DOH!
Like Mike, I thought I would give the wee beastie a quick wash and brush up on Saturday (After I got home from the Chillies!)
Products used
Megs Gold Class Shampoo
Megs clay bar with quick detailer
Autoglym Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner
Autoglym SRP
Autoglym EGP
Meguires Cleaner WAX
And then ran out of time so only one coat of Autoglym HD wax on the roof and rear spoiler!
More wax, wheels and engine bay to do!
If anyone has any other opinions on other products please shout!
Old hat, belong on shop signs unless you have a very kitted Zed.
Lots of kits available, think Andy can supply.... Suspension kits look pretty cool,
Legally, I dont think you can drive around with them on, only on when stationary!
You can get genuine carbon replacement A-pillars James Top Secret ones for $599 or Envy do mastergrade ones from the states.... Cant remember how much though...
The varis B-Pillars look pretty good for $99 from Intense Motorsports..
Kev @ Envy had some but they may be with the Chillis now...
Japan Parts show them at £135.... Am holding onto mine!! May have finally made some money out of modding!!
thanks Mark, i will definitely look into them. but would prefer not having to travel far, that;s why i was wondering if halfords will do it.
cheers
?????? You did say you bought a Zed didnt you?
Will prob need an ICT cable thats listed on here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16403 do you know if yours was Bose or not?
Try Halfords but you may also want to try asking a monkey with a tambourine ... Probably both as good as each other for sorting out Zed audio!
Hi Ian,
I can highly recommend giving Terry @ Vivid Audio a call (http://www.vivid-audio.com/home.html) hes based in Horsham but thats not far from London.
Mark
I recognise that shop!! JP did say that they have enjoyed working on it....
Unfortunatly I have to see him soon!.....
Are you still going with Azure or is that a different colour?
Just to carry this on... Dynos are very easy for tuners to "fix" so you could be given numbers of say 250, you then pay them a few ££ to fit parts, tune etc and suddenly you have the holy grail of 300 bhp.... When you could have 260bhp... Also dynos can differ with weather and I agree with chris on the different types of dynos giving different numbers.
If you use a rolling road day at a different tuners then go back to the tuner of choice for an initial tune you will at least be able to see if the numbers stack up..
Yeh you can run off a double din unit , but reports on my350z are saying the pic isnt that clear and its quite fuzzy and best results have been found with a 2nd spefic screen.
Will get some day pics this weekend and see if I can put a video together...
