With any pressure washers they can split if you leave water in them, just unplug the water but leave it powered up and shoot the jet a few times until there is no water in there and its now dry...

testpipes = decats. But just looking at your torque numbers.... they are pretty impressive at 260 @ 5000.... Someone correct me but I thought it should be about 220 to 240? Its not all about the BHP Thats just bragging rights!

does seem low for having a piggyback..... I ran 239 at the wheels but cars have been running between 215 and 245 at the wheels then you add 10 - 20% depending on who your talking too and the type of dyno... I think piggyback should be giving 255 - 275ish at the wheels properly tuned... think you have an issue here but your tuners should be telling you that... Get them to take the PB off, run it and then plug it back in... Should tell you if the piggy back has kicked in and the maps are running... Depending on how the piggyback is mapped and plummed your OEM ECU may have learnt and has taken over.. there is a way of stoping this by linking to the cat sensors but then a good tuner would no that... unfortunatly not many have touched the Zed! You didnt say if you have testpipes?

Yeh it was modified live.... I thought it was pretty good.... Agree with you on no 2 engines are the same, but its more about they are both vq35's so there will be a varience of a few HP but as all us owners know from owning them, you dont get to 300+ without a piggyback or a reflash or some internal N/A engine work... That was my point that your GT has the same engine but is kicking out better numbers than the ones in the Zed... we seem to be resticted by the ECU but am guessing that the GT has the same ECU...

If you havnt got a piggy back or a reflash then your still not getting 310 to 330..... All the bits you have there are manufacturers +10, +15, +10hp not what actually happens on the car

Just been looking at mine and its about the same as yours Dan and mine was considered at the fly so need to add 10 - 15 on for the wheels... Lots on the DD come out at 235 so if it is at the fly your doing fine at 250, if its at the wheels then its not great...

You may want to try these guys too Jay http://www.gasstrutengineering.co.uk/ They are in the UK, and make adjustable ones for front and rear so are good for frp and carbon. They used to sell through East Shore but you can go direct... Have supplied a few guys on the other channel, Am just sorting some out for mine so my brand new NRG carbon ones will be up for grabs soon. Oh by the way, the ends on the Teins can be prone to getting a bit of rust on them so a bit of wheel wax is a good idea

Trying to set up a photoshoot with kitted zeds in the various standard and non standard colours (only one really and you know who he is!!)... Want to try and get one of each of the different types of kit so I have earmarked a few cars but not openly discussed it with all the owners yet.... Also thinking of getting Nismos in all the colours together for the same thing... That will be easier! So if your interested in joining in, stick a pic of your car up and we will sort something out! Venue will be as central too all as we can get it and when availability is good... If we can sort it it should be good for a mag or 2....

Intersting as they both have the VQ35DE. Must be the ECU in the GT cause the Zed suffers! Also interesting that you havent got the plenum spacer on... its the only proven torque / hp gains without ECU adjustment... Autobox is the same as in the Zed by the way Unfortunatly owning the Zed and trawling these boards we dont trust figures given from manufacturers.... 40bhp from those... maybe on paper but not on the car! Only if you have dynos which you do so good on you If you got one to post up would love to see it just to see the curves

The kit is the Opera performance one made for GT4... Not sure if that was the prototype nismo one or it could be the opera one

Needs to be Infinity cause of the states and its cost cutting on lots of levels and get to make it a more exclusive brand. Its to take part of the Lexus market... Seen a few 37s and they are very nice interiors are spot on... Good price on the interior, car to share the details! Interested how the 35 was more powerful as standard... they are all reported as less powerful than the Zed... But also how you got it too 320. Guessing you have had a reflash or a piggyback? Been thinking of doing somethign like this for a bit...
