  1. excellent - now post some pics!!!!!
  2. Jay - just so we're not getting confused, here is what I meant You've got 4 sets of covers in total. 2 come with the hood, and "bolt" on under the vents. These are sometimes (not always) supplied by Seibon, but the hood won't close with them installed (in other words, toss em out!). This will leave the vents in the hood "open" and effective at all times Then you've got the factory covers for the battery on the one side and master cylinder on the other - these can remain in place. What I would suggest is finding a small piece of rubber matting with self adhesive on the other side, cut a small square, and place it on the underside of the hood where it would come down on top of these factory plastic covers. This will prevent any "scuffing" that can happen between the underside of the hood and the top of the factory plastic covers. I did this to mine, and had no issues with the hood scuffing the factory plastic covers at all in nearly 3 years worth of use Any questions, of course, let me know!
  3. Mathys - if you're after a bit more comfortable setup, and don't need all the trackable adjustments of the V3, the KW V2 is a fantastic system as well. Still dampening adjustable, just not to the level the V3 is, but it's less costly as well - a true sports suspension that is great for typical "B" roads, and even the occassional club type track day. Another very worthy contender is the Bilstein PSS9 (or PSS if you don't need adjustable dampening). These work so well, Nissan could have included them as a factory accessory!!! One of my fav's
  4. Yes, seriously If the scheduling could work out, I could get over there for a few days, never been to England before, so what a good opportunity this would be!
  5. keep me posted guys, I'd definitely like to try to make it!
  6. OBX (second link) is utter trash Top Speed (first one) has decent enough build quality, but not for the faint of heart - they are insanely loud, and look a bit "ricey" to me when installed - some people like this look, some don't, sort of down to personal preference
  7. I gotta agree - they look cheap to me
  8. I had the same hood on my car for several years ( a preproduction unit) without any problems that being said, we still recommend they are fitted with hood pins, or, if you want a lower profile look, the Aerocatch locks - extra protection is a good thing
  9. all our best wishes for you for a speedy recovery
  10. very cool cars - does that use the same engine as we get here in the states? (it was sold here as the GTO)
  11. the Works are very well priced actually - for an example, the CR Kai would be around $1600 US including delivery, lugs and hubcentric rings . (approx. 800 quid depending on the exchange rate) - so quite nicely priced considering their pedigree, and relative uniqueness. The mesh wheels I posted first would be around $1200 delivered (in 19 inch) and around $1300 in 20 inch) TSW does have some nice styles that are really well priced, and they do make a quality wheel, albeit on the heavy side (but when its all said and done, wheels, especially on a street car, are more about looks. This one is one of my favorites they also do a version without the rivets and with a bit cleaner of a spoke called the Nogaro. There happens to be lots of nice choices now as far as lower priced options, vs a few years ago. No the offsets are very Z friendly, and really make the car stand out! If you have any questions on potential fitment, even if you don't get them from us, feel free to ask, I'm happy to help.
  12. couple other options that sprung to mind Work Emotion CR Kai (18's) - this is as fitted to my car Work Emotion XD9 (18's) Work XT7 (18's)
  13. TSW do some nice styles, some with huge lips on the rear as well - and very fairly priced. We stock a bunch so if there is any style you favor, let us know Also, I love these 19's or 20's, and not pricey at all!!!
  14. if you can get past the music this one is nicely edited man I could watch his videos all day long! I remember when Speed TV here in the US (then it was Speedvision) used to play the entire WRC season usually the same weekend it happened on a tape delay. Colin was one of those true personalities that you couldn't help but want to watch. I can't tell you how many times the reporter would interview him after a stage, where perhaps he was faster than, or sometimes slower than, other teams, and he would just give these funny, quirky answers like "I guess we were a bit (faster) slower", or "Seems we'll be needing a new car". Those sessions with he and Grist were simply amazing to watch, and it was when rallying, at least for me, was as good as its ever been (aside from the old school group b days)
  15. just below the hood catch, basically in between the bumper support and the latch, it is mounted to a bracket and is a bright yellow plastic plug
  16. he was an absolute legend and among my favorite of anyone in sports
  17. ah how mistaken you are there is a reason SO many people here have purchased this exhaust from us over the last many months we have an absolutely fanstastic shipping rate worked out on international items - and the bigger/heavier it is, the better the deals get So the delivery charge for an exhaust to the UK would be.....? We offer the NISMO exhaust to members here for $1365 delivered - this price applies to most addresses in the UK and even Ireland

  19. good stuff - I've never used the drilled ones but we use the 4000 slotted all the time on a wide variety of local cars, from Z's to Evos and Subarus and they have worked out great for us. I ran 5000's on my own car for a while last year with my AP calipers, as they were much cheaper than the AP replacement disks (and lighter too!), and they did very well with a wide variety of pads gold color is very nice! enjoy
  20. the genuine NISMO V1 bumper is no longer made. We do have the sideskirts and rear in stock, which are urethane. For the V1 type front, we offer the Aerosync version, also urethane, and LOADS cheaper than the fiberglass genuine NISMO
  21. it's our pleasure Nick, and I'll pm you later on thanks!
