  1. thanks for the compliments guys! Ian - nope, impossible for them to be a different color, as we painted the entire car this time (stripped it bare and went from scratch - my first full respray, and all done in house here! You're just seeing some shadows, as there are some weird angles on the skirts that reflect light a bit
  2. Just a few quick shots my good friend Najeeb snapped last weekend. Only a few, since it's bitterly cold here in NY!!! Some are raw, some are edited a bit - Najeeb was feeling artistic (my least favorite because of that little divet in the front bumper, which I managed to figure out and solve today (of course, after we had snapped pics lolol!!!!) As much as I'd love to say I'm done, I know I'm not Exterior wise, I know I am finished - only thing I want to do is lower the front another 1/4 inch or so, as it's a bit too high with this new bumper. Interior wise, I am actually thinking of new seats....we'll see though, lots of research to do still. Power wise Cossie manifold will be put through its paces in the coming weeks, and who knows what else is to come! One more...just because I think it's my favorite pic of all of any part of this car! Enjoy, and let me know what you think! Thanks!!!
  3. I've got a good contact here in the states - I actually have the same watch (automatic, non chrono). Which exact one are you after?
  4. your wheels sit the way they do because your car is not lowered My setup is far more aggressive than yours, but its lowered, and sits at the edge (does not stick out yes you will need the rear arches rolled
  5. smoked are offered for 2002-2005 cars only clear are offered for 2002-2005 and 2006-2007 - the shape is a bit different between the years
  6. The throwout bearing noise is quite normal - sounds a bit like a rattle, apparant when foot is off pedal, tends to go away when you depress the clutch. The juddering, shaking, etc is a likely an indication that the clutch has been slipped excessively and as a result the flywheel and pressure plate are like heat checked. This causes hot spots, which ultimate results in an uneven mating surfaces, and that will cause the vibration and juddering you are feeling. A bit like rubbing something against sandpaper
  7. thanks digsy! I'd wish you the same but....well, that's a bit of a sore spot with you Englanders I'd bet
  8. nope, std. noises from the OS Giken clutch - when the clutch is not engaged the disk is free floating. That, coupled with its reduced weight vs stock = more noise
  9. Had some time before going to the family for Thanksgiving turkey yesterday, so took a bit of video and spent last night editing it downward. For those not familiar, my car is a built naturally aspirated motor, higher compression than std, Tomei cams, Crawford headers, forged pistons/rods, all balanced and blueprinted, built heads, lots of plenum work, etc etc. Car put down 303.9 whp, on pump gas (93 octane here in the US) on a Dyno Dynamics (which read about 12% lower than a Dynojet and about 20% lower than a Dynapack. Exhaust is, as mentioned Crawford headers, resonated test pipes, Fujitsubo Y pipe + Fujitsubo Legalis Titanium exhaust. The road I was on was in an industrial area, but it's really crappy, so I didn't quite push it 100%. Currently the motor is set to have an 8400 rpm redline though I was shifting at around 7500 in these clips since the road was a bit short. I'll try to find some better roads that are smoother/longer so I can go all out - so look for some more videos this coming weekend. For now, enjoy! 16. Veilside carbon lips don't look anything like the TS ones IMHO - and the fit is not all that great. There are small gaps at the edges of the bumper in about 50% of the cases - hence why we dont like selling it unless its going to an experienced installer who can make it work. The replicas, I find, are no better The best fitting lips, in carbon, are C West and Varis
