most printers/cameras are working now on vista (something like 20000 drivers have been added since Vista was released).. you can check https://winqual.microsoft.com/hcl/ or just look on the hardware makers website for drivers

I agree that stock engine I would go PE - it should be the earliest kit to come on boost and is both safe and inexpensive (well - kinda!).. should be able to run it up to nearer 400..?

the controls are generally reckoned to be pretty heavy - but I think you would quickly adapt to it - I don't find driving the Z tiring.. (when it was in for a service last month and they gave me some crappy small peugot courtesy car, I was so worried I was going to snap something off and couldnt believe how little feedback the controls gave me)..
