  1. that's some shockingly bad driving
  2. should be free most weekends - except this next one.. probably better sooner than later with christmas coming up!
  3. well I can now drive round town without spilling my gin and tonic due to the smoother throttle response at low revs - so although some people may not see any benefit, I certainly do (gin is expensive you know!)
  4. Well I just went out for a sunday morning hoon-aboot - there is definately a difference at low throttle openings, I am able to drive much smoother at low rpm and around town than before - which is what I hoped for.. so I'm happy
  5. count me in I have been down to Goodwood (from Kingston) twice since I got the Z 2 weeks ago for a drive - some decent roads that way..
  6. Kit just fitted - my 2nd mod (after K&N filter ) - very easy install thanks to Spill's fine instructions, took me (completely inept due to presence of short vestigial wings where hands should be) about 45 minutes. Will go for a spin later and see if it feels any different, although having hard the car less than 2 weeks I may not be able to tell!
  7. I always think of that noise he makes as more like "Maaaarp!" - so I think you should greet me like that Anyway - thanks for the welcome, whatever it sounded like Have just been for a drive down around the South Downs some (up near Goodwood) - great fun, lots of torque - couldn't really push it (new car and all) but even driving like an old granny I was impressed 1st problem I found so far is that the CD player keeps being interrupted by NEWS - how do I stop that? 2nd problem is that I pushed the fuel cap opening button into the dash and had to spend a couple of minutes fishing it back out.. guess I am just ham fisted! oh and 3rd problem was finding myself doing 100 when I thought I was doing 70.. the speed piles on quite effortlessly if youre not watching!
  8. Yep I'm quite a fan of that zany penguin - must be a hang-up from my student years.. I think the animation is brilliant - better than wallace and grommit any day quite jealous of you working for the Pingu family
  9. Yep figured it was an unusual colour - so although I was originally wanting black I decided red was rarer (and easier to keep looking clean!!)
  10. Hi Z'sters, been studying the site for a couple of weeks and today I finally collected my lovely Z (red GT 2004, black leather) - not had a chance for much of a spin yet but its nice to get back to RWD (bye bye clio 172!) and actually have some torque too.. I live in Kingston (on Thames - not Hull!) - wave if you see me around!!
