insurance is always such a hard one to give advice on because of the various ages, postcodes etc. I suppose its one of the benefits we have of being **cough** more mature.
yeah, you're right, I'm with Bell (thought it was budget, oh well it's got a B in it!) and they had quite a large interest rate for monthly payments. It was cheaper to bang it on my 0% credit card and set up a monthly standing order to the card.
I always think of gambling as a vice - I have a friend who's husband has literally gambled thousands away. I take it you're pretty good at it Beavis? I quite fancy giving it a go but would need lessons and would only gamble with matchsticks!
yep, thanks Trev. Got my new tyres fitted this morning - took bloody ages and the owner of the place I went was very friendly! Going for the laser alignment somewhere else later but already the road noise has gone and all I can hear is the lovely growl!
someone at work today said this was the best film they'd ever seen - can't believe it of a batman film but you never know. If I can persuade anyone to come with me and sit still for 2 and a half hours I might give it a go.
interesting - I'll wait and see what I get quoted then. I phoned north eastern tyres and exhausts in York - their website claims to have really top spec equipment - probably means top spec price too!
I know some places will actually do the check for free but I think the cost varies depending on the adjustments. The place I phoned said they would check it for free and then quote me on adjustments. I had no idea so I just did a google search on laser alignment and that's where I got those prices from. Hope you're right!
Has anyone had the 4 wheel laser alignment done and how much did it cost? My guess from googling is approx £80? Is this worth doing and how does it differ from whatever they normally do when you take it to have the tracking checked?
its ok i suppose (dont like the roof) but shall we have a bet as to how long it takes before they become as common as muck and nothing special?
Folding hard top will be the selling point i guess.
its one of those occassions that you actually wish it said Nissan Courtesy car in big letters all over it. And if possible a sign in the back saying my real car is a 350Z! You know you'll spot lots of Zeds now and won't be able to wave don't you.......
Big thumbs up from a chap in an azure soft top just near rawcliffe roundabout in York about 8.30am today. I waved back of course!
Forgot to mention an 06 Azure I saw in tesco car park last friday - rather attractive bloke but I was in a mondeo with 3 wheel trims so I decided against parking next to him for a chat and skulked off!
