  1. Mine is like the little led on the top of a tv remote
  2. If you want warning lights buy a super car. The veron has more lights than a Christmas tree.
  3. This is what a KR should look like. http://www.symbolicmotors.com/vehicledetail.php?id=228 http://www.sweetchariots.com/sale3.php I would expect a convertible KR to sell for between $200,000 and $300,000. This year at Scotsdail: 1968 SHELBY GT500 FASTBACK sold for $192,500 1968 SHELBY GT500 CONVERTIBLE sold for $313,500 1968 SHELBY GT500 KR FASTBACK sold for $181,500 1968 SHELBY GT500 KR FASTBACK sold for $154,000 1968 SHELBY GT500 KR FASTBACK sold for $247,500. This car is reported to be the first KR ever produced. So basically you're looking at the guts of $200k to get a fastback KR.
  4. That one is a '67 which according to wiki if it's a GT500 it should be a 7L engine. Also the KR came out in '68. I suspect the car is a clone and has been heavily modified to simply look like Eleanor which also wasn't a KR. Eleanor from the original "Gone in 60 Seconds" was a '73 Mach 1. This one looks good but wouldn't touch it unless I had money to burn.
  5. The KR is the one to have. 933 produced. Didn't we have this conversation not so long ago. Ah who cares anyway. I still want one.
  6. Nope. It's all gone. Really sucks ass. The last company to supply 97 was Texaco and they stopped about 2 years ago. Think I'll start spamming shell.
  7. Man I love the Mustang fastback but I would have to have a manual.
  8. F***s sake. This is so unfair. We still only get 95 and that shell stuff is reduced to 95 for the Irish market yet costs more.
  9. Check out the images for Simon's poor Z. You can see a very large bottle behind the passenger washer jet. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6352
  10. Was about to post a comment about the beam but have decided against it. Sell the car. Accept the loss. Move on to the next one. Lesson learned.
  11. Would be curious to know what this is like as it sounds a piece of **** to apply. Shame I just got carnauba wax delivered.
  12. Very sad. Not sure it's even worth repairing. Aside from needing a new front, some of the structure has moved out of place which would imply the chassis has twisted a little. Whoever buys it will strip it for sure. Very sorry to see this happen to anyone. I'd talk to the folks. You're going to take a big loss on this no matter what you do.
  13. We have one dealer in Ireland who specialises in exotics. You tell him what you want. He gets it. Think he buys people out of the waiting lists. Never seen him with a TVR. Ferrari's, Aston's, Bentely's but no TVR. Another dealer sells Astons and SLR's. Doubt I would ever be allowed a test drive without telling a few fibs.
  14. Wish there was a TVR dealer here.
  15. Mate of mine used to live in Oman. People would rent a humer for $100 and go wadi bashing in it. Bring back with virtually no suspension. Responsibility was on the hire company. Not like that now. Flew over for new years (millennium). Off the plane, round to somebody’s house and off to the dunes. Unfortunately I didn’t have a drivers license so couldn’t have a go. Nothing quite like blasting round dunes in a stripped down 4x4.
  16. Ordered a set off Phil this evening.
  17. It costs more to keep one muppet in jail in Ireland than the average salary.
  18. At a guess I'd say it was a manual as auto boxes tend to stall when spun like that. The commentators were a bit shocked.
  19. lol The odd van would be like saying an occasional van parked at the side of the road.
  20. Don't have an alarm on my Z. I'm a paranoid individual and am always checking my car but still I don't feel the need for getting an alarm fitted. I've got the flashy red light and that's all I need. Knowledgeable car thieves are few and far between (If any at all in Ireland). Getting into a car is easy. Starting it is not. Most cars stolen in Dublin fit under one of two categories. 1. It's an old peice of shite that can be started with the wires. 2. It's a modern Audi, BMW, Merc etc and they got the keys from your house. I did hear of some luxury car (cant remeber which) where if you hit the front of it hard enough the doors unlocked thinking you were in an accident. Poorly writen software.
  21. I use my eyes In Ireland there's about 12 fixed speed cameras but only 3 acutal cameras which they rotate round the 12. There's also the odd van with camera in the back and of course cops on the side of the road. All stand out like a sore thumb which is why I've never received a ticket or points. In a year or two they will be privatising speed cameras in Ireland. My eyes wont be good enough anymore so I will most likely go with a Valentine One. Had one in the US for a month. 10k miles - no tickets. Saved me on many occasions.
  22. Have seen it done (not a Z) using a tennis ball with a wedge shape cut into it. Also see video of golf broken into using a flat head screwdriver. (Without breaking windows)
  23. About to order some duck from the chinese
