    What you're describing is a typical Zed gearbox. As has already been said, take your time on the changes when its cold and if its ok when hot then it should be fine.

    Agree with MBS on this. It's a pretty crappy arrangement anyway whereby the threaded inserts that the toneau is fixed to are a press fit and expand along the lines of a rawl plug. If you don't have any luck with the dealer, then you could take them out yourself and wrap a bit of tape around them to pack them out a bit.

    Possibly an obvious question but have you checked the valve? Also I agree with rmmackfc in that it's perfectly ok to have a bung put in the tread. I've had one in one of my rear tyres for about 8 months now with no problems.
