  1. I haven't heard anything bad about them either. The only criticism I'm aware of is some people found them a bit harsh due to the stiff sidewalls.
  2. You seem to have got much the same response as I did. What sort mileage have you covered in the last month? Anyone know what the amount of oil is required between min and max on the dipstick?
  3. You appear to be one of the lucky ones. I too ran mine in 'by the book' but it still has an appetite for oil.
  4. I also have an 06 rev up engine and mine has used oil from day 1. How much is yours using? I get through about 0.5 of a litre per 1000 miles. Nissan have informed me that they work to a tolerance of up to 1 litre per 1000 miles.
  5. Thieving scum I'd certainly take Lexx's advice and contact CAB.
  6. Quite a common fault iirc. Don't know what the fix is though sorry.
  7. She's clearly got a talent for it so why not. You could get a couple of them done and see if any of the local tourist places would be prepared to put them on display on a sale-or-return basis.
  8. What tyres are you getting fitted for only £280? £100/£120 a corner is cheapest I can find Cheers for the pistonheads link, got beaten to those wheels by about 5 mins lol. I bought some 17" 350Z wheels the other day off a member on here so they will do me for th time being. As for the tyres. I'm looking at the Federal SS595, which has been recommended a few times to me. Good thing is the 17's i've just bought have got 2 of the Federal SS595's so I can see how good they are. Don't do it!!!!! Tyres such as these are priced cheaply because they're budget in every respect including performance. At the end of the day it's your car and your decision to make. But a 276 bhp rwd car on cheap tyres is asking for trouble imo.

Clear Silicon sealant is one option.
  10. great!! Great if it is, who can ever forget Senna's opening lap in 93 in the rain. Here's a video of the opening lap for those that don't remember it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-t75o84nHE The confidence he displayed in this one lap is incredible. I wonder what other drivers thought after watching a repeat of the race. One to take real advantage of better grip off-line in the wet, in addition to his extraordinary skills. A real master at work and the best ever imo
  11. yeah, guilty too , I had a TV175, no lights or mirrors (already into speed then ) but I had the obligatory air horn and parka - really upset the teachers when I drove it to school as they walked in Brilliant Mine was an SX 200 with a Dykes Wildcat 225 conversion and a monobloc carb. It had more mirrors and lights than you could shake a stick at, and also had the obligitory air horns, back rest, tank ariel, trick paint and of course a pom pom exhaust
  12. Become very built up and has lost a lot of character since then Trev, just my opinion. Yeah so I've been told. I may have the opportunity to go back there soon with my work, so will have to see if any of my old haunts still remain. You can chew gum again now so thats a step in the right direction. Food is still fantastic What about growing your hair long - not that I could now anyway
