How much would the Nismo V2 stuff be? Can you make a fibreglass frame for the carbon blade or are you only able to produce the whole thing in carbon? Do you have any examples of Nismo V2 Spoilers?

Where are you located? A friend whos an installer has mentioned that if someone really wanted it he could try and work his magic but hes never had one in that wanted to retain it.

I've just gained a 2nd car too and have had games with this. Some places just tried to screw me over on insurance on the 2nd car. Even tho we only wanted to do very small millage i.e. 3K they came out with silly quotes due to having 0 NCB on it. Admiral on the other hand were great. Due to my 'good record' they mirrored my 10 yrs NCB from the 350z to the Mini. The quite was VERY good, less that thier normal quote pretending to have 10yrs NCB. They also said any accidents on one car does NOT affect the NCB on the other which is great. Thier renewal price for in a couple months time on the 350z was also VERY good, in fact lower that last year which is good considering overall prices have generally gone up recently.

Generally no. There is talk that its possible to hack it together using various after market modules but its far from a straight forward job.

As everyone has said. Legally they are not covered as they are not the main driver. Will it cause a problem 99.999999% of the time no. Its not worth the insurance companys time trying to prove that they are main driver but insured as a second driver in most cases. It would have to be a serious accident before they looked into it.

How do they handle - no idea. How do they look - IMO silly. Even on dubs I don't like the look. Seen too many cars spoiled by stretched rims IMO..oh and the fact its often ends up with an illegal setup as the rim sits outside the bodywork.

I agree if you just wanted to get the car serviced but IMO if you were wanting the service book stamped for a P2 service then you have to expect they will want to do the work. martinmac -> I don't think the issue is about needing to get it done there. Generally people look on a full manufacturers service history as better than a service history thus why he wanted to keep it (even if this is not the case many times)

That code reader is going to stick out a mile. Have you seen where the socket is? It will hit your legs that. You might want to get a 90 degree angle adapter

I bet they don't want the order to fall through. They can say they can cancel the order but they don't want a 30K car sitting there waiting to be sold. I would try and push them again. Sounds like they admit its thier fault. Also remember that cash flow is a major issue at the moment for dealers with such low volume of sales so 30K sitting in storage is not good for them. If you still end up paying get freebees out of them. These cost hardly anything to the dealer so matts, first service etc

Did they agree to not doing all the P2 items you had already done or did you just say you had done them? It does not supprise me they did the items again. If you want the stamp you have to let them do the work. Bit like me saying to the building inspector "Don't worry i have inspected all my own work can you just give me a certificate please" He won't and he will inspect it all again. Unfortuntaely if you want the Nissan stamp you need to let them do the work.

All comes down to the contract. You need to go and read it carefully. Not sure how you can be given any advice without looking at the contract as if it says "The price may vary according to the taxes applicable at delivery date" then they have thier get out clause. If there is nothing in there about additional costs then your sorted. Whether its a geniune mistake or not, its thier mistake so they can take it out of the nice profit they make on a 30K car.

Not sure I like the matt two-tone look. I would look at wrapping the top part of the wings otherwise the colour line is going to be very strange. It needs to follow the swage of the edge of the wing.

The booster just takes the RCA output and boosts it. The other cables you can see are the power feed for it. They normally do not distort the sound unless you have a very noisy system.

Sextons Direct no longer list the 29-007 and now only sell the 29-020 (also suitable for the Sony head units too)

Looks good. You've done well to fix that box in there. Will be interesting to see how it sounds. I had a couple of the older Hertz boxes which I liked.

Note its not compatible with the newer iPhones/Touches due to using the wrong charging pins!
