Was on my way into Port Solent when I saw a trio of 350z coming out. Black Softtop, really nice blue coupe then silver softtop(i think). Anyone on here? Also saw a really nice Orange GTR on the M3 - floored it just next to me and the sound was so lush, then I passed him again as he pulled off - he ooked over and smiled with a thumbs up and so did I Then saw a helicpoter take off at Port Solent. All very eventful

I would DEF not rely on silicon sealant to hold a spoiler on, specially not one the size of the Nismo MK2. Def look into the likes of tiger seal or stickoflex bonding. Tiger seal is much much stronger than silicon and would be more capable of holding it on althogh I would always want at least a couple physical fixings I looked into getting the V2 and from what I found, 2 of the fixings should be able to reuse the existing holes (or at least need redrilling but be covered by where the standard one would go) but the other 2 would need drilling (although tiger seal instead is the obvious alternative) If there is a gap in the middle of the spoiler then it sounds like its just a poorly made spoiler. It should fit the tailgate perfectly. The mould they are using is probably flimsy and of poor quality.

We've been looking at these recently. We have a proper brick chimney but because we have boarded the chimney breast out by an inch I don't think we could fit this unless there was a way of funnelling the flu up the chimney behind.

I would get them to weld it up, should be good for a good 6 months. In that time keep an eye out for a second hand backbox on the forum. Exactly the same happened to me.

There is no 29-00 lead. You need the lead for the make of head unit you have i.e. 29-005 for Kenwood. If you search for all parts 29-00 you will see the list of the ones availab.e

Thought it did quite well considering the competition. Where were they using the convertibles tho vs the hard top TTrs - Bit silly I thought.

Was another 55 plate on the BBC web site as well....

A head unit will often work without an earth if you happen to have connected the Aerial in as it provides an earth route. You would not want to be running the stereo through it but its possible to not realise you need an extra earth due to this.

Did they either sell you an exhaust or fit you an off the self one later? Sounds like they did not want the work. Welding the back box to middle pipe would cause 0 problems from speed bumps etc. The joins are not there to provide flexability they are there so it can be made in parts and easily replaced. The joints won't be flexing as you bounce over a speed bump. As said by others IMO welding it would be a fine solution. The exhausts are very good, the join is just the weak area, the rest of the metal work on them is of quite a high standard for a normal exhaust.

If its just been serviced it "Should" have had a P3 so you are getting a P1 + P2 + P1. I would say that price is fairly good. To get a Nissan P1 under £150 is going well so to get 2 + the later P2 for under £450 is not bad. Its worth clarifying exactly what service they have just done and making sure its just not a quick oil change leaving the more expensive P3 still to do

Ah cool - I presumed it was some limit switch on the mirror to make sure it was closed

Only thing thats not 100% clear is the bit where your putting a limit switch into the mirror (i think thats what your doing) The rest should be nice and reliable.

This is one of the main points for me. If you 100% developed the mod without referancing any meterial published on here for free by enthuasts then feel free to charge for it. I'm pretty sure you have used knowledge gained from the forum to help sort the design. Personally its the whole ethos of it thats not so great. This forum is all about helping others, I know I and many others do it. Answering PM after PM on how to fix stuff. Providing guides on what you need, how to wire it. This is all done out of the love of modding/cars. If you want to charge for what you have done - this is fine but you are 100% a trader.

Where was the overspray from. there is No way it would have overspray from the factory. Either its been around a bar being resprayed or its had a panel repaired before you even got it. I would be asking the dealer if I were you? Did the detailer use a PDG? If so they then might be able to spot which panel has had work

With them being so rare I think you are really going to struggle to get rid of just two of them. As for price.. I would say you would be lucky to get around 600/800 for only a couple. As others have said dealer prices are used for only 1 thing and thats insurance claims. You could get a set of virtually brand new Rays from the 350z years and years ago for under a grand yet new they retailed at £3000+

If you can noticed the power difference from fitting a pop charger you have done VERY well considering its minutes in the scale of things. Putting a bag in the boot will cause more difference. For me it just made the difference to the sound when you put your foot down. Adds just that little extra without causing the general increase in volume you often get with a replacement exhaust

I think it would go for quite a bit of money. The engine alone has had a good 5 figures spent on it! I can find out how much he would want if you like?

Know this car very well. Done some of the audio work on it. Exterior is not to everyones taste but its far from a all show and no go car.

One little funny I found with TomTom is that if you start it before docking the phone then it does not put the sound out of the head unit. You have to plug it in and then start tomtom

Yup charges too although if you are running GPS then it will not charge it much as most of the charging powers the GPS

Pretty sure you can as I can listen to the iPod while it shows TomTom on the screeen and it will give me the directions over the music. = Thats with an iPhone4 and 113BT

Interest too in the magnetic trays
