This seems to be 50/50 split on my350z. Short ram is likely to have less pressure drop but is also prone to heat soak. CAI is the opposite. I'd try short ram (easy to fit) then CAI and see which you prefer. I'm currently trying to decide on whether to get a BMC CDA intake or not. They get really good reviews on my old Leon forums (and all VAG), and Alfa's use them a lot too, as well as a few race teams and bike teams, but then arent seen on Zeds very often. Think I'll start a new trend

Theres a lot more in driver skill than people realise usually. Also the Zed is more of an enthusiasts car than people buying it for the name as with Boxsters/Caymans, so Zed owners tend to know there stuff a bit more. Thats not to say that all Zed owners are the best drivers in the world, and all Boxster owners are rubbish, but the vast majority of them are hair dressers That is of course except for when you are up against an Evo. The computer on board them can launch a space shuttle and will take any sort of crap driver and make them good!

I think it'd be a close call, much more down to driver skill than the cars. As far as I can see they are pretty well matched, but of course you being the better driver will win

Bah, they're only jealous of people moving up and getting nicer cars. As am I but if I stay nice I might get a go in one some day. Most exotic car I've been in other than the Zed is a Delorian

From what little knowledge I have of this sort of thing, they usually attempt to "tweak" the hanger on the exhaust itself. Rubber mallet would work in this case. You possibly do the same for the overhang, hammering the hanger forward which means relative to the back of the car it gets recessed further under the bumper.

Be interested in the replies to this myself. I have a few scratches here and there, some swirl marks (mainly on the roof) and usual peppering of stone chips which I want to get fixed at some point.

Awesome car mate. I love Porkers and would love to have a GT3 RS one day. A while back we took my mates Evo VIII to the track and the couple of GT3 RS's that were there sailed passed us as if we were standing still, simply amazing. Also where I saw and fell in love with the Zed Porker will have to wait until I have some more money unfortunately.

no , he's not done anything wrong to warrant prosecution...morally there's a different story I beleive if directly asked he has to fess up, but if the buyer doesnt ask he doesnt have to tell them. I also believe if its "sold as seen" and the buyer finds out later it was a write off then they have no comeback
