How easy are the indicator bulbs to fit? Meant to be quite easy. I think the front can be done without removing the fender liner, but need to search on it, basically can be done from the top of the light. The rear involves popping a few clips and removing the rear light cluster I think, but nothing major.
  10. Good good, wouldnt want any broken clips and rattling panels afterwards!

Looking good chap You need two more small things, bonnet lifters (from Bigphil) and silver indicator bulbs
  12. This was posted up on my350z a while back, thought it would have been on here already. Does look very cool, but from what I remember the price was extorsionate for what you got, in the US anyway
  13. I have a mate who is doing up his brothers Pulsar and all I can say is they are fast as f00k! We went out in it when it had a bent cam and I think it would compeletly blow away the Zed. This Pulsar was kicking out around 350BHP apparently when running properly and in the wet there definately would be no contest due to 4WD. I had a play with a RS4 the first week I had the Zed, and it really showed how much playing with people is down to the drivers and not the car. He hammered away from the lights, but once we hit some twisties I cought him up and overtook him. He was definately trying, but that car should have blown me away. Also had a bit of a drag with a Carrera on the way to V festival at the weekend. I was amazed at how little distance he pulled to 70MPH, then he took off over speeds I was willing to do. Astonished as the GT3 I saw at Bedford was stupily quick!
  14. Good stuff Break any clips? That tool I posted above worked a treat for me, had the whole of the rear interior out to put in 40sq/ft of Second Skin sound deadener and not one broken clip!
  15. Just wait for it to get to a corner
  16. ethereal might be getting a bit too hardcore for most folks on here, but I would definately suggest a spyware program such as ad-aware and a firewall (mine is a hardware firewall + windows, not the best, but I know what I'm doing most of the time)
  17. Which roundabouts should I be avoiding then Chris? I wouldnt want to meet you going sideways! One of puporse built ones on my private test track, so no chance I'll meet anyone
  18. I use AVG and its free, http://free.grisoft.com/
  19. I shall send that to the peeps at work when I'm back in the office Wednessday. Sure my manager will be impressed when he gets it on his Blackberry
  20. As the others have said, just build it up. Take the corner say 10MPH less than you could in your CTR, and just keep going at it. The TCS is pretty good, it catches you early enough to avoid a spin, but late enough to let you know you were gunning it too much. I think you will quickly supass the speed of the CTR in most corners and realise how quick you really can go. A lot of this scare mongering is down the the OEM tyres in the wet really. I havent had any problems in the dry at all. I'm still learning the limits of the car, but I go for a play in the wet on a nice big quiet roundbout every now and again to let me know what it feels like to get the back end loose. Gives you plenty to "experiment" with Obviously the best place to do it is with trained instructors where the environment is controlled.
  21. Problem with doing the dyno straight after a mod is it does give gains as the ECU hasnt had time to cancel it out. Does seem a strange notion this self leveling ECU, but it seems a widely accepted thing by all Zed communities. The only thing you can do to get around it is have a remap, which as with all cars is what is needed to unleash the real gains of any mods.
  22. I'm probably going to get a BMC CDA. Its a conical (sp?) filter housed in a carbon box. Meant to work really well, used loads on Alfas and VAG cars. Not to mention they make the filters for Ferarri (both road and F1!) - good enough for me then! Not used much in Zeds, but see if I can start a trend
