  4. +1 - it doesnt truely cover the cable, just goes over the top if that makes sense. You will be left with a slit, but its easy enough to hide.
  5. Nice one Mitz. Making it a bit of a more social thing might allow me to convince Amanda for us to come.
  6. Nothing wrong with them for day to day driving, they are just no fun on the track or when having a play. They have loads of torque and better fuel economy than similar sized petrols, but their powerband is usually quite small and they sound crap! For a proper fun drive you really have to have petrol, but for day to day commuting, Diesel wins.
  7. Indeed, as well as those mentioned above, try Adam@Z1auto and CS, both are tried and trusted traders
  8. 19th or 20th September, Mart... Just had a look, nothing seems to be happening that weekend, so could be a good weekend to pick... Think I can talk Amanda into a 5hr round trip?
  9. Its actually really easy to fit off a cold water feed for the washing machine. Get a Y-splitter from Wickes and tap kit, take off washing machine pipe, fit splitter, replace washing machine pipe, add tape pipe to other feed, screw tap to wall, and screw feed pipe to tap. Off you go, honestly took me about as long to do that as it used to take me to get the tap adapter on the old tap! And it used to pop off all the time!
  10. Although this is true, BM is a good lad and dont want to see him beaten up We're all friends here
  11. You could try something like this... http://www.wickes.co.uk/Taps+Valves/Eas ... nvt/420000 Fit it straight to the cold water feed pipe. What I did was run a Y-piece from the dishwasher feed (or equally from the washing machine feed) to the tap from that kit bolted inside out under sink cupboard. I struggled for ages with the fitments you are trying to use and ended up buggering a seal up in the tap through wiggling it to try and get it on! Give the external tap kit a go
  12. Sounds good guys, look forward to progress

  16. Nice one buddy! Always good to have someone show you the ropes, that will have made your learning curve very steep! The Zed is very capable on the track, seems more at home than you might imagine by its road manners. Funny you should say Jayne takes no pics when nervus, Amanda is the exact opposite taking loads!
