  3. Unfortunately, this will fall too close to the Jockland hoon, so I wont be able to come this time. Jockland Hoon will be good though so I dont mind too much!
  4. +1, when halfords touchup was no good, I tried these guys and swear by them now. Colour match is spot on and they sell touch up kits with cleaner, swabs and paint all included
  5. If you want to disable the airbag and get rid of the light then unplug the yellow plug under the passenger seat. Place a 2.2Ohm resistor across it and then do the airbag reset procedure. Job done - the passenger side airbag wont ever go off and the light wont come back on.

  10. I think he must have fit that afterwards I think there will reamin to be some kind of Skyline in Japan, but didnt mean it would be the 350370GT. They will just make it a plain old Skyline, nothing exciting, just a normal car.
  11. 1: Sunset350z 2: AndWood 3. Spr1ngy 4. Ian 5. GrantMitchell (dont dare look at the site in case I spend a fortune ) 6. Chris`I 7. Beavis
  12. What you like - we had about 7 on the lawn and 8 on the drive and we can put two down the side field driveway no problem Need to watch his parking me thinks
  13. +1 to both posts above
  14. Is BumbleBee a memeber on here? I see a new member for Mr Mac to chase down
  15. I beleive there is still a Skyline in Japan, but the GTR is no longer derived from the same chasis, its its own entity. Just like the Lancer Evo, they Skyline was always a normal car but the GTR was the sporty version. Now the GTR is completely seperate.
  16. +1 - Dan Perkins do mine every service it seems which is twice a year at the moment. Always works just fine. Not as well as some other cars I've had but it certainly holds it without excessive force. Still leave it in gear though!
  17. As the others have said, its a G35 or Skyline 350GT. Shares a lot with a 350z, but from what I understand doesnt go quite as well. My boss almost got one as he wanted a Zed but needed 4 seats.
  18. We are rigging a telly up in the garage for Saturday and Sunday too Time to dig out the folding chair
  19. I'm amazed at the lack of interest in this. I thought we had quite a few members from around that area? Come on guys, sort it out
  20. But wouldnt you rather be in the break away series? Thats the one everyone will be watching as it has the big names I think this will end up in someone standing down (Mosley perhaps) and the teams getting their way. There will be no F1 with those teams leaving, or if there is, no one will watch it, everyone will watch the break away series.
  21. +1 - any thieft with more than 2 brain cells knows its got an imobiliser, which means they wont be able to nick it without the keys. What you should be more worried about is being carjacked as they know they need the keys to get away. In that case you'd want something like the Blackjaxx or other anti carjacking device rather than a steering wheel lock (which have been proven a piece of pi$$ to remove if they really want to). I leave my car anywhere and everywhere and havent had any trouble in over 2 years. I try not to park in really dodgy places though.
  22. Happy Birthday sprinkle boy! PS Have you signed up for the Airfield day yet??
  23. Needs to just buy a new one! What about one of those netbooks? They are only a couple of hundred quid, should be quite good for on a boat being small, light and good battery life
  24. I have no doubt they can do them, the problem is because they havent seen every variety of UK ECU, they dont have the re-written firmware to flash to it. That means that rather than doing one trip to have a flash and map, you end up having to make 2, one for the dump, then they send it off to the States for the modification to the firmware, then when that comes back (about 2 weeks I think they were quoting) you can go back and have it flashed and mapped. Thats the rub for me, would have to make 2 six hour round trip journeys rather than one. I am contemplating popping in on the way back from Scotland hoon though to get mine dumped which should save one trip
  25. Would be interesting to see if Nismo use the stock ECU with a different map or if it is a completely different chip. If its the OEM with different map, then I guess RS Tuning may be able to dump it. I would have thought Nismo would have protected the chip suitably to stop people stealing the map. If we could get a dump of it, it would make RS Tunings mapping a lot quicker!
