  1. You will get a zed in a garage but you'd have to measurethe propesctive garages. Mine fits in easy but we have a wide garage for a single, it goes out about 1ft each side from the garage door. At my mates house his is barely an inch wider than the garage door. Soyou have to be careful as not all single garages are the same
  2. If the fronts have 4mm left then it has to be tyre compound in my mind. I was going to say if the fronts were barely legal and the rears very nice, then that can cause enough variance in the sizes to give TC trouble, but with 4mm on it should still have enough to keep the RR close enough not to confuse it. I'd go with tyre composition. Whatever it is, its given you enough of a shock to post on here and must have damaged your confidence, so same tyres all round will give you that back
  3. +1... this is usually a symptom of incorrect front vs rear tyre sizes, rather than mis-matched makes. 225/45/18 up front and 245/45/18 at the rears. Hmm, you have the right sizes then. How many miles have they done? If less than 500 they might not be scrubbed in enough. Otherwise its down to the compounds somehow causing you problems.
  4. What tyres sizes do you have front and rear?
  5. And remember, just because its called Modified Live, doesnt mean you cant bring a standard Zed! If you are coming and planning on sticking it in the public car park, just come and sit on the stand
  6. Dont really give a feck about cloning, not many quartz 370z's about to clone it to Mine is more for advertising this place as I have show plates so all the pics have the club name in them
  7. Cheers Dan, knew I could rely on you buddy
  8. You wont have all functions in the other themes than the default one(s) - you shouldnt have access to prosilver, that must have been us messing around with something The themes are quite customized so you wont find everything in prosilver. Have fun while its there, as soon as the other Chris see's it, it will be gone
  9. Don't need them as said above but they will aid the airo in some way. Unless you need to leave them off, I would refit them, it's only 3 poppers in each one anyway
  10. Sounds like the Stig ........... he drives like him as well, and used to make his car spit flames on long straights just cause he was that bored at 170mph Just proves Clarkson is wrong to dis the Zed, we know it's the Stigs fav car
  11. Ta matey. The plan was to put the around the other way, but on the passenger side, the bolt sticks out too far if you rotate them to be on the bottom and foul either on the engine, or a wiring harness Planning to move them around a bit as to hide them. They stick out more in the pic than in real life though.
  12. Can you tell Amanda that please? The amounts of time I have dissapeared off to the garage saying "back in half an hour" only to reappear in about 3hrs time, I think she's about had enough! I tell her its not my fault, it always takes longer than you expect - but she doesnt beleive me I'm getting better though, I told her my Stillen G3 install will take 4hrs and I think I did it in about 3hrs in the end
  13. Dont know any off hand, but try http://detailingworld.co.uk/ - they'll have a good list in that area. Tim@Envy Valleting is very good but probably a bit too far from you, although you can pay his (very reasonable) travelling costs.
  14. Looks like a neat system. The team will have a chat about it and see what we think, but it looks good so far
  15. As the others have said, the pics just dont do the colour justice. I had a tough time trying to decide whether to hold out for quartz or go for black, and I am so happy I waited now, if I had to do it all over again, I would wait twice as long for it
  16. +1 - I learnt this while dremeling my barely 2 week old 370z intake area very close to the aircon lines Step back, breath and take your time Dremels have a mind of their own sometimes The plastic your cutting gets pretty bloody hot aswell I learnt the best bit to use was a grout remover bit which is quite meaty, and keep it on the slowest setting. It pretty much sawed through it nice and easily when it stayed under control. I started on a higher speed and it melted the plastic into the dremel bit

  18. There are some mega bumps happening at the moment +1
  19. Oh, and if you feel cheeky, try telling them you've forgotten your trade card. They may apply the discount anyway, in which case it whacks about 20% off
  20. +1 - fairly expensive for Halfords, but very well made, and the pro range comes with a lifetime guarentee IIRC. Had mine for a few years now and its been 100% reliable. Remember these things are an investment and last for years if looked after right
  21. Sure I can find a library pic of a 40th edition engine bay
