  1. Hey I tell you what, it was a bloody expensive outlay just to get 370z of the show Pics uploading to photobucket now. Dunno what that mad man was on about saying about the rain, it was f'in hot and sunny today I would like to say a big thanks to all that arranged a great even, and special thanks to Terry@NMGB and Andy@TrackWork for arranging for the 2x 370z's to be put on the Saturday and Mike and Darren from TrackWork for taking the time to come down and take people out in them. They ran the cars pretty much non-stop from 10am-5pm and there wasnt an unhappy punter from a trip out with them
  2. We could all chip in a fiver and this could be our forum project car
  3. +1 - I've seen some bad crash pics from young uns in the US and the car does amazingly well. I'd say if it were NCAP it'd be a 4 or 5 TBH, its a solid car.
  4. Does seem to come up well. Good to see some pro's tackling them, I hear the paint can be a pain to correct.
  5. really?! would you have a trolley jack with you to do it? If you ask nicely someone will chuck one in. I'm sure Tim will have room in his van for example if its not too full with detailing stuff!
  6. Ok guys, pleased to annonce that we definately have 2 370z's for the Saturday. The test drives will be run by the guys from TrackWork who have done many car launches with NMGB and know their stuff. Unfortunately there is a minimum age of 30 for the test drives and drivers must have no more than 3 penalty points on their license, this is a stipulation from NMGB's underwriters and nothing we can do about it. If you dont meet the age requirement I'm sure if you ask the TrackWork guys nicely though they will take you for a spin Test drives will be subject to availabilty on the day, on a first come first served basis, so if you really really want a go, I would suggest grabbing one of the guys straight away. You will require your full driving license (paper and photo card part). They will be on site from 10am on Saturday.
  7. Sorry to see it go Matt, was nice to meet you at Wales - GLWS, she's a beaut so shouldnt take long to go
  8. Yup, need to sure up a few details, but we have secured official support from NMGB who are bringing along a 370z coupe and roadster for those that havent seen or driven them. This should be the first of many events that we will be doing with NMGB
  9. Leave some nice big rocks near your house, I'll sort out that neighbours solar panels when I visit
  10. Good work Tim, I'm sure this will be very very popular with the members EDIT: Also made it a Global announcement so everyone can see it
  11. Glad its all sorted chap. Stick it on the credit card and you'll forget about it after a bit of a drive
  12. Good to hear feedback for traders, well done Dan and AME
  13. +1 - sqiggle RareJDM on it and job done! Looks very good, you should start making them part time and sell em
  14. Good to meet everyone, and good to see some of the newer guys getting involved. Shame the weather on arrival was a bit pap, but after a swift one in the pub the sun did get out a bit
  15. Nutter Dont knock it til you've tried it
  16. I'll bring my jack and spanner, cant win with no wheels
  17. Grass may be better even if the carpark isnt full, gives us plenty of room
  18. Just to confirm for those of use that arent too good at following directions, is this the carpark you are on about? http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=50.839762,-1.096079&daddr=50.839772,-1.096079&hl=en&geocode=&mra=mi&mrsp=0&sz=18&sll=50.839857,-1.096036&sspn=0.001775,0.004801&ie=UTF8&ll=50.839857,-1.096036&spn=0.00355,0.009602&z=17
  19. So what are the final details of this meet chaps? Been flat out at work and not been following it, can we have a definitive time and place to meet?
  20. Kestrel gets my vote as it's what I have. I also like he Poorboys SSR range but again that's just because it's what I've used before. Its better than megs SRP but can't compare it to any other polishes. Matt will sort you out though
  21. Second skin did wonders in my 350z and about half the price of the equivelant Dynamat Extreme
  22. Here's something for you true MTB fans - http://www.thisiswhy.co.uk - simply awesome Others will simply just not get it.
  23. You are correct they are POIs and I think it does more than just tell you where they are and more than just restraunts, I think it does phone numbers (which is then dialable for the phone connection) and maybe even a bit of blurb about them. When I remember, I'll go find a POI in the satnav and see what it says
