  1. Is it possible this forum could get hold of a copy of the workshop manual for members to refer you??
  2. That sounds like an idea, thanks. BUT...I'm getting old so what is your Drop Box? I've tried getting to the manuals on the Nico club forum but without success, looks like you may have to register, although I've not found out how just yet. You may then have to pay to get a copy.
  3. Death on wheels!! IMO. Take great care, you don't get many chances if you come off one of those. The bike looks great but a fast bike, badly maintained roads, lots of idiot road users and excuse me for saying, a slightly older gentleman riding it, makes for a dodgy combination. Im an older guy too and if your like me and still enjoy the thrill of speed, there WILL be a day when you open it right up or take bends faster than you should. Enjoy it but please take care. Best of luck
  4. Anyone know what's happened to the workshop manual we all knew and loved? I have a link on my iPad which I've used many, many times before. Touching the link used to take me to an Index page, then I would tap on the section I wanted, engine, interior etc and I'd get all the instructions, pictures and circuit diagrams I needed. Now the link takes me to the Index page but when I select any of the sections I'm taken to "NICOclub.com" What's Happened ??
  5. To late! Decided to connect them as supplied and see how the mot goes. If there's any problems I'll reverse the brake and fog connections as I've said. By the way these light units make a world of difference and are much better than the oem units. If you buy a set you will probably find that on the offside unit one of the plastic locating tabs doesn't match up with the locating hole on the bumper. If so, just cut it off. Also as others have mentioned in earlier posts, be sure to add additional sealant along the top edge and anywhere you feel might be susceptible to water ingress.
  6. Apologies but Im in a dilemma about how to connect these lights. For those who have them ....do you think it's better to connect the brake light wiring to the Fog connection and the Fog connection to the Brake wiring IE reverse them. Since the Brake function LEDs are much brighter than the Fog LEDs this would give brighter Fog lights and we don't need the CarLab brake lights to be bright because we already have the oem brake lights. Hope that makes sense.....what do you think???
  7. IS THERE ANYBODY THERRRRREEEEEEEE í ¾í´”
  8. Hello.....is there anybody theeeeeeeeeeerrr
  9. Can anyone who has fitted these units please answer a question for me. It will help in sorting a problem I'm having with mine. Q...when mounted to the car which direction do the led reflectors face. On my near side unit they face to the right IE towards the number plate, and on the offside unit there angled to the left, IE towards the number plate also. Is this right ?? Thanks
  10. Hi, I'm interested in this. Does it come with the port fittings and mounting bracket?
  11. I had a small amount on both my rear wheel arches, it's a common problem due to the inner and outer wheel arches being spot welded every 4" or so where they come together, leaving a slight gap where water can get in. I had the rust cut out and lots of wax oil squirted inside the arches, then new metal welded back in. It cost me £800 for both arches.
  12. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced and baffelled OCC. Thanks! Looked on Search but not much info available
  13. Update... Well my light units arrived in the post this morning, well packed and very fast delivery. I haven't tested them as yet but up until now I can't fault the ebay supplier. Hamish of "garagefiftynine". They look the same as the Carlab units and appear to be very well sealed against water ingress. They are a bit more expensive at £139.99 but for me this is outwayed by having a UK supplier. Hamish seems to me to be a very helpful and standup guy (by the way I've no knowledge of him or his business) and he's worth a look for anyone else interested, he may even offer a group buy price if approached by enough people. I can't wait to fit them even though the rear bumper removal seems to be a pig, just waiting for a bit good weather now to get started. Edit.. Can any members confirm that "Running Lights" = Side lights and that "Marker lights" = indicators (the last one came from the YouTube vid of how to fit them)
  14. Well ordered the garagefiftynine units. I emailed them and confirmed they are CE compliant and will pass an mot. The guy assures the quality is good. I also commented that the picture in the eBay ad shows them to be clear. He assures me the publicity picture suffered the effects of the chromed back plate and that they are smoked. He sent a none publicity pic to confirm it.
  15. Just noticed, what seems like the same thing but offered by "garagefiftynine" ? At £140. Has anyone dealt with them? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-Bumper-Red-LED-Rear-Lights-Brake-Indicator-Fog-Reverse-Reflectors-Z-/252430912974?hash=item3ac60e0dce:g:Rg4AAOSwubRXK1~v
  16. A couple of questions if you don't mind....did you seal the suspected joints with silicon and do you know if the discounted offer is still available from Carlab? Oh and by the way they do look the dogs ........s
  17. Just been reading this group buy thread and was wondering if those who bought them are still happy and if many others experienced the water ingress problem?
  18. Ok that's all going in my diary, so if I buy a 370 now and a new super duper one comes out next year, then none of you will receive a Xmas card from me. So be warned!
  19. Assuming they don't price themselves out of the mid priced car range, do you think a successor will be here in the next year or much longer?
  20. Anyone got any idea or a good guess when the 370 might be replaced? It's 6 yrs old now and Nissan seem to be keeping their cards close by saying there's life in the old dog yet, but 6 yrs is generally a changing point? There's talk about the GripZ but is that just a general design concept ?
  21. Can anyone recommend a trolley Jack they might have used/bought that will go under the Z ? Thanks
  22. Many thanks all. As it happens I did find the non return valve to be acting as a restriction and removed it, which made a huge difference. I've not tried it since yesterday but will check to see if the water in the pipes has drained back creating a delay of water to the screen. If it's ok I'll leave it out. I have ordered another one just in case. Didn't know that mixing screen wash could cause deposits, but it sounds reasonable and I have flushed the tank and pipe work out to get rid of all deposits. Many thanks for all your input
