  1. How do the Rotas compare with the Nismos for price?
  2. Thanks! I can't actually find the aux belt change interval mentioned in my (2003) service guide under the Z section (ie. 9000 mile service interval page). 5 years/72000 miles is quoted for cars with 18000 mile servicing and that's the norm for many other cars, so would be the best bet. Also my belts were looking quite worn (cracking rubber) at 60k/5 years, so it was definately the right time for mine. Steve Thanks. Where did you get the new belts?
  3. Ouch! - glad you walked away unhurt; watch the sore neck, though. It could get a lot worse and you should get it checked out with the GP or hospital in case you need to claim against your insurance later.
  4. Thanks. That would make mine overdue. Anybody confirm this?
  5. How often do Nissan recommend this is done? Excellent write up. by the way.
  6. You thought you'd got off lightly, but the grammar and spelling police have caught up with you. It's lenience!!!!! Seriously, though, well done. It's not often you have good fortune like that on the roads these days. A bit of humility paid off, it seems.
  7. Chris - couldn't resist straightening the horizon in your picture. Always think it helps to make a landscape shot look better.

    Falken tyres

    Bump! Anybody any views?
  9. Thank goodness I logged on after these had all gone, as these are the only wheels I would consider replacing my 17" rims with, and her indoors would never understand the need to part with so much money "just for wheels", even though they were such a bargain. Well done Phil, and good luck to all you lucky sods who bought them.
  10. I think JDM performance sells some add-on guttering to beat this problem. http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... =449006826
  11. Now that this thread has been bumped - did you ever get an answer to this query?
  12. Could have been worse - try this - And before you say it - no, it's not a sexual offence.

    Falken tyres

I don't see many suppliers with the Falken 452s for my 17" rims. Several now have the 912s, which appear to be the new version of the 512s. A few US sites are giving them good reviews. Anybody one here any knowledge or experience of them? _________________
  14. Take it easy on the journey, Jay. I hope you get there in time to say your goodbyes.
  15. Wondered for a moment where that was going, Digsy. I take it you were talking about wheels, weren't you?
  16. My list - 1. 1954 Morris Minor (cost £10 in 1969, with seized engine, bought a Morris Traveller for £15 with 998cc engine as donor car) 2. 1961 Austin Mini (floor eventually perforated) 3. Ford Escort mk. 1 (death trap - will never own a Ford again) 4. Austin Maxi (surprisingly versatile until engine seized) 5. Morris Marina saloon (not too bad, actually) 6. Morris Marina estate (dire - no wonder British Leyland went under) 7. Datsun Stanza (first decent car I owned) 8. Rover 216 (Oh dear - why did I go back to British?) 9. Renault 21 (Much better - did huge mileage with few problems, including a couple of trips to France) 10. Lancia Thema (my Dad and I were long term fans of Lancia, and this was the culmination of a dream - brilliant car) 11. Lancia Thema 16v (obvious upgrade) 12. Renault Laguna 1.8 (ok - finances prevented natural progression at that time) 13. Renault Laguna 2.0 (things looking up a bit then) 14. Honda Prelude 2.0 S (That's better!) 15. Honda Prelude 2.2 vti tiptronic (Brilliant - kept it far longer than planned - now my son is running it) 16. Nissan 350 Z (finally made it!) 17. Might also help to raise interest if you posted a guide price on here.
