  1. On my 2nd Z PCP now. Traded in the '55 for a '57 after 2 years and ended up with ~£2.5k towards the new car. Reason I'm not buying is that I'm on 20k miles pa and I don't want to own it when the warranty runs out. Probably works out a bit expensive overall, but I get a nice car with no warranty issues for a minimal deposit and low(ish) monthly outlay. And yes...judging by the amount of time I spend with the Dodo Juice it does feel like my car
  2. Anybody been in yet for their clutch slave cylinder and BCM alarm check from the latest recall notification??? Did they find anything wrong and if so what did they say???
  3. If you've even driven one of their current coupes you'd steer well clear of this. Sheep in wolfs clothing comes to mind.
  4. Err, wassat then??? Me (plus my accountant) follow the rules in that private fuel is a taxable benefit therefore you pay as if the gross cost was part of your salary, so you pay the chancellor 10%/22%(soon to be 20%)/40% of this at the various breakpoints. Am I missing something???
  5. ...so does mine, but (a) they get touchy about premier fuels, and ( I still end up paying 40% of it as a taxable benefit
  6. Sounds a bit high (5-7% for 2 RON) and surely the ECU compensates for this after while???
  7. Pock-marks I can live with - scratches from new wiper blades and soft scrapers
  8. Had one done in 2006 on my previous Z. Fitter said "he really enjoyed doing it as it was different!!" Took about an hour and a quarter IIRC.
  9. Jay - just search for "rattle" on here and you'll find loads. It could be anything from the cross brace to the remote boot lid release fittings to the small tonneau cover. Both my Zs have done this at one time or another and it becomes a real adventure to track it down.
  10. Has anybody else had problems with OEM windscreens scratching easily? I blamed the missus on an icy morning back in December for scratching it with an ice scraper, but b*gger me - yesterday driving through town I flicked the washer button and watch as an nice deep arc was gouged in my windscreen . It's got its first service soon so was thinking about a warranty claim. I've driven 20k pa for more than 15 years straight and never had a screen this bad. Even the '55 plate was better. What do you think??? I won't post details of plan B on here until I get a verdict from Nissan ps. also, feeling a bit sheepish about blaming the wife now

Eeek - don't back off or you'll be picking up pieces for a week. Gotta love the disclaimer at the end
  12. Nice...looks Don't know why they deleted my TO to add this colour though - why not keep both?? Ask about touch-up paint. If Nissan are working at their usual rate you should get in in Jan 2009.
  13. Congratulations and welcome to a life of cleaning, polishing, petrol station visits and wasting time on here Now, get that aerial changed

+1 Bits of it look more like a mid-90s Ford F150 if you ask me. You sometimes wonder if Nissan's designers have ever seen a half decent interior.
  15. 21 Alternatively as certain very precious dangly objects are about 3 feet off the ground it could be just 1 if he/she scores a direct hit

Hmm, squint and the blue one looks like a 406 coupe from the back

Looks like an elephant sat on an 8-series
  18. That is pretty cool. Forget the 4 days hard work, what genius edited the 4 minute trailer and sync'd it with Two Tribes. Epic
  19. Definitely a good idea to look for a large employer in your area who are expanding and trying to contact them directly. They may deal through agents though and won't talk to you. Failing that use Google to download a sample contract with all the right small print. Ohh, and put a lock on your bedroom door and get a small floor safe
  20. Cheers, found the original thread. Useful ideas around getting rolling shots. The shot showing the calipers almost as if the wheels were without spokes is just
