I'll try to hook him up. Parcel carriers & forwarders use a weird calculation called Volumetric Weight meaning that sometimes you pay for weight and sometimes you pay for volume. It's the old "ton of lead/ton of feathers" thing. (sorry, very dull but I'm kinda in the industry)

Just wondered if you had a reply from Jim at 350z partitions? I've been in email contact with him and he's keen to find a way of reducing the shipping costs to the UK. UPS want $90 to shop a single partition. They only weigh ~2 KGs but are large volumetrically so you get badly stung by the parcel carriers. I guess there are a couple of options; 1. We take a bulk order on the forum for say 5-10 partitions and get a much cheaper shipping price and probably a discount 2. We find him a distributor in the UK Anybody out there got any ideas? ps. Thought I'd wait until the car had been through a winter and 10,000 miles before posting this. I had the X-Pel paint protection film applied to the bumper and mirrors of my '55 Z. It wasn't cheap at £370 but I don't have single mark or stone chip on the protected areas. It comes with a 4 year warranty against fading or peeling. Apparently it can also be easily removed by the installers. The coating is almost impossible to spot under normal circumstances. I really recommend this product for high mileage use. I only wish I'd had the leading edge of the bonnet done as I've picked up a couple of nasty dings that I think the coating would have avoided. Picked up a couple of small dents on the leading edge of the bonnet last week (damn M-Way driving) and just had a repair quote organised by the local Nissan dealer (Wiltshire). 300 quid ( ) are they taking the p*** or what. Spoke to Chips Away but they can't repair without a full bonnet respray which is out of their league. Help anybody. At this rate I may as well buy a CF replacement.

Work pays for the fuel so it only costs me the tax amount I thought about a hack to run to work, but I can't face driving anything else unless there's no choice. If the weather is really bad and/or I need to park overnight at the airport I take the wife's Focus. Remember, don't polish it - drive it !!!!

My Sep 05 Z has to get me to work every day which is 100 mile round trip so its gonna get thrashed at 25000 miles pa. Anybody else racking up mega miles?

Already given the dealer an ear bashing so might be looking for a complete refund. Shame really what with it being already integrated. 30k car with a 10p phone system!

Is anybody else having trouble with the pre-installed phone kit? I've got an old-ish Nokia 6100 and having spent out for the cradle (£150 !!!) the quality is sh*t. Dealer has moved the aerial, but compared to my mates pre-installed Jag kit it is terrible. Help
