  1. I changed from the 040 Stones to the Falkens (and rims upped to 19") - marked improvement in the wet although in the dry the extra grip (and/or perhaps the softer side walls) does mean provoking oversteer needs just a little more caution as to when it lets go. I intend to try the MPS when the next tyre change is necessary, given the informed opinion on here.

Epsom is a ghost town today when I walked down to pay off a Visa bill before th dreaded interest charges kick in. Less shops open than on Christmas day. Least I got there and back without going a over t
  4. ......and I believe that includes imports that are registered from March 2006 onwards, even though they were made before then so it depends when yours arrived in the UK as to what tax you pay at the moment, until things even out for all But don't let the tax price get you down - the sheer pleasure of driving a ZED takes that all away
  5. If you like what you see here, pm Bryan - he is based in Chessington but I am sure he would travel to Sussex http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... =detailing

  8. I use an o2 Orbit that has satnav (GPS) and it does not interfere with (bluetooth) calls and works perfectly with the hands-free, and I like the range of other features it offers I sure there are many other phones out there that will do the same thing. Chose the Orbit as with a Brodit holder it gives me a clear view of the phone screen next to the centre console and leaves no holes etc about the dash when you come to sell. A damn site cheaper than buying Nissan's sta-nav offering having bought the car new and gives the flexibility of using in our other car
  9. No Ian you are wrong - the owner who had the ECU problem was being wrongly accused by the garage - the handbook sets out the usual procedure for jump starting (for those who may not know how to)
  10. This link below should help you. 2006 models onwards should all have the bluetooth adaptor as standard but as it so easy to remove and sell for upwards of £50 some 'disappear' http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
  11. That's what you get for lowering your car to F1 ride height
  12. +1 To take the time out to update us will make your Dad feel very proud
  13. It drove me round the bend filling in tax forms when I was on PAYE and even though I now work as a 'sole trader' rather than waste my earning time trying to figure out puzzles (and giving myself headaches) I am quite happy to pay the accountant to do the necessary. Value for money in my book.
  14. Also, check out the new 19" Ruff wheels for £750 (with tyres) noted in the Ebay listing on the bottom of that link
  15. Happy birthday Stew - 26 Sure you are not undercounting numbers again I'll anticipate the response
  16. These two pics help to clarify the before (without any adaoptor fitted) and after with the BT bluetooth module clipped in place . If you think back to the non-bluetooth phones used 3+ years ago then are cradles to suit them but unless you are into retro phones the bluetooth adaptor you see in the second pic is what you want
  17. And when you check/change the pressure at 35psi make sure the tyres are cold
  18. This thread has all the trappings of deterioating very rapidly
