Thanks OK, so diesel helps the environment but at the expense of human life - its not surprising most people react to seeing black fumes being pumped out...... with just cause . There was the same reaction with coal so the sooner we have power sources that avoid the use of fossil fuels the better off we will all but in the meantime as I am only here on this planet once I intend to make the best of what fuel is on offer, until a proven alternative that has no harmful side effects becomes a viable alternative

I have one on my uk coupe, very handy for bottles of irn-bru R Changed in mid 56 on UK facelift cars with the drinkholders being in each door and potentially alongside the handbrake in the revised cubby but that has always looked risky to me, as Stanski and MARK-UK have found out to their cost.

Hhmmmmmmmm... don't know if it is me but we seem to be hearing of more and more people suffering with cancer of one form or another and you do wonder with the increasing level of diesel useage on our roads if the connection is there .... anyone have any more info on the subject? Having had one diesel car way back (Citreon ZX) that was enough and the other 'alf always felt ill through the fumes. Even now we will often hold back/overtake/put on the air-con when we find one in front - it is like being behind someone with BO

I find it quite odd (in a funny sort of way) that road tax is now way in excess of the insurance premiums although when I told the customer services agent I had made no claims in over 40 years of driving (other than windscreen replacement) I think she fell off her chair. God knows how much I have paid car insurance companies over the years

Nissan's 3 year warranty (UK cars only) for 04 ZED will have expired, unless you are fortunate enough to bought their (expensive) extended 2 year one and may be just inside the time limit? I guess you have an 'aftermarket' version, in which case you ought to go back to the dealer who sold you the car

Yep, can vouch for that - try the B2141 from Mid-Lavant to South Harting and back down the B2146 - a nice pair of roads if traffic free

Chris Is it possible to delete a page of "view unread posts" at a time?. I tend to scroll down and pass over those that I feel I do not want to open. A page at time deletion option would be particularly helpful when you have not logged on for a while and come back to umpteen new pages of posts (and given what you have said about the increasing number of posts) which time if nothing else, will preclude opening them all? Now we have the "view new posts" option that is always a back-up to opening something that might be othwerwise accidentally deleted aside from the search option to find things.
