  2. Have you made sure all 3 plungers are working correctly - testing each in turn will help eliminate if one (or the attendent wiring) is faulty.
  3. Man after my own heart there - and nice vid Fran
  4. Having driven that pass and others in the area in a 350 and having caught the front aprons on the tight cambered turns there I can fully understand why it is not lowered for practical reasons, and as much it may look better Living in an area full of humps and enjoying trips to Wales and the Lakes is the reason why I did not lower the 350 or will be doing that to the 370, and I cannot justify the cost of cockpit adjustable suspension for the few times using a lowered ZED would be suitable. And having seen how lowered ZEDs have struggled when road conditions don't suit, as much as lowering improves the looks repairing the damage and restricting the driving enjoyment does not always make it worthwhile, IMHO.
  5. Nice pics Andrew
  6. bet you do when its you but the poor old ZED is left unloved - cue Husky
  7. Welcome to the forum and 370 ownership - on my 3rd Zed and still grinning
  8. A shame that yours and Gemmas lives are being dictated by a 'war' that should never be. Whilst the army may be your career I can't see many choosing that posting, apart from from being with good mates but the stories coming home about what you guys are going through is heart wrenching. But hats off to you and everyone else out there no matter how justified or otherwise the cause is. But then they go and post you so you miss the Wales runs - how inconsiderate especially as we thoroughly enjoyed your presence last October. I reckon we ought to put something together for your return in November, although the weather conditions might be a bit of a shock compared to what you will have endured during the previous 7 months
  9. You won't have time getting everyones orders in
  10. Looking good - in red of course Couldn't help noticing where you had parked - lawfully? -otherwise don't leave your car there too long or they might bury it
  11. Yes you can, but only 2 days before the start of the month. Did you know if you get your car taxed at the Post Office on the 30th or 31st March you pay pre April Car Tax increase even if the tax is from the 1st April Something to know for the future I got my years tax starting 1/4/10 for £405 at the PO on the 25 March - guess I was lucky

  13. Thanks guys for the good wishes - but a few years to go yet before I get me state pension Spent my birthday what I enjoy doing most - driving the Zed - some 200+ miles in Wales and including snow covered roads, as well And can confirm the 370's are just as good at hanging the back end out on leaving roundabouts as the 350's But what really made the day was ChrisS and his partner Stef popping into Moreton to say hello and presenting me with a card and a ali 'Z' key ring he had spent 3 hours making - I am but very honoured someone who I had not previously met on here and only exchanged pms and a calls went to so much trouble - so Chris and Stef not only was it a real pleasure to meeet you guys but a very big thank you for making it a truly memorable day.
  14. As the salesman made the mistake, its probabaly more about the salesman losing his commission given the sum involved Best to haggle for free servicing or something else that the salesman might be able to give as 'compensation'.
  15. All feels fine - but trying them around Wales over the next few days I used to worry about wheel bearing wear and stud shearing etc but the feedback I've seen on hee over the years suggests those fears are unfounded, as long as quality parts are used and ones Andy (Kudos) supplied have an excellent reputation.

Joined: Wed Apr 15, 2009 5:51 pm Posts: 2528 joined after me and has 20 billion times more posts...... guess I am more or a reader than a poster guilty - thats the trouble with a being a mod, as you have to read every post (not just the ones you want to), I am afraid the side stuff dosn't get much attention As I remember my old school report - must try harder But it stilll seems Rich has been around forever and long may it stay that way

My thoughts too - you get the sun bouncing off that could be hugely distracting, and I agree with the majority - it looks naff............

  22. Well, rather a good soapy wash followed by some Meguiars deep crystal polish and over all the paintwork and then a waxing with dodo supernatural wax (both courtesy of Kudos Automotive), whilst the wheels were lightly cleaned with meguairs metal polish and then a coating of Poorboys wheel wax, with tyres dressed in Poorboys 'bold n bright' tyre wall liquid. The exhaust also had a seeing to with the Meguiars metal polish. And I'm now knackered
  23. WHY ON EARTH..... At least the crazy dog wouldn't lose him
  24. There you go
  25. I was originally going down the 15mm/20mm road but when I saw Andy was getting the 20mm spacers that clinched it and knowing fitment should be OK. Really don't want to get into stud changing, hence the 3mm shims at the front, but I also have a set ready for the rear so may well end up with 23mm all round
