  3. That is a rare 'Ultimate' example - interior (and if seats not damaged by air bags) would attract a premium. I see the bonnet has 'popped' - I remember the price to fix that arrangement on a GTR a while back went into 5 figures for that fix alone, if I remember rightly. That is the one thing that concerns me with even a small tap on the front end. So part strip may be the best option but no doubt ZMANALEX or R35LEE will have checked it out

  6. +1 and you won't even get peanuts for it now, but as I have seen with the 350's over the last six or so years on here, once owners start selling their 370's in the years to come those who have dumped their OEM exhaust will be kicking themselves they didn't keep it when you can recover quite a good proportion of the ££££'s spent, selling the aftermarket exhaust on to others Currently, for example, 350 Nismo exhausts in good condition will fetch near on 3/4 the new price paid 4 or more years earlier
  7. Cheers ChrisS
  8. Get yourself along to this meet next Sunday - not so far from Croydon. viewtopic.php?f=93&t=48304
  9. +1 and the pics are supurb - good luck with the sale
  10. The fact you ring up with mod changes without a load of hassle or silly premium increases is great But with the price of insurance rocketing I was a bit shocked at the % increase on the last renewal of our two cars, which I accepted due time constraints, but I will compare with more probing next time round
  11. Only 62 - that seems a long time ago now Have a good one Pete and don't forget we need to show the youngsters on the Wales weekend that being of, shall we say, more mature years dosen't stop us enjoying our ZEDS
  12. And banned the fecker
  13. Glad you pleased with your purchase but the 370's do need a decent exhaust to make you feel you do have a sports car The rear view mirrors are a tad on the large size but I have the opposite issue at 6' 2" in that I find the view rearwards from the cabin mirror restricted by the top of the black surround on/in the rear window. Nice view of following headlights but whats on the roof of something following is obscured unless I duck down As regards the net the 370 is twice the size of that for the 350 and uses two straps to fit over the brace bar behind the seats as well as using the 4 clips in the boot area. Nissan want about £84 for a net but you can pick them up cheaper - could try :pmr35lee: That's how I got mine In the interim might as well use the net you have if its fits
  14. Nice video there Mark and good to see the guys that work on the car and make it go so well are the same who work on our ZEDs
  15. Nice to know it is still around - but not aware the new owner has signed up on here - if the sticker was in the nearside rear window that is likely to be the one I left on the car when I p/ed it for the 370. That pic was with the 19" Nismo's BTW that ChrisS now has

To be fair I found the 19" nismos with the 452 falkens a cracking combo in the handling department and of course they look so good hence the price they command s/h. They came from Big Phil who we all had great respect for and the tyre profiles he advised certainly worked well. They were in a different league of course to the 040 Stones that I had on the Rays - really no comparison.
  17. We have noticed how peaceful it has been

Because they are wider does not mean it will improve the handling though. The standard set-up of the 350 is what makes the ZED such a great drivers car and if you go wider the balance on the throttle will be affected - they might make the car stick more in the bends but when it does start to let go it is likely to be more sudden than progressive. Although I use spacers on the 370 that is purely for looks and if it was solely about handling I would not have them on. Just my 2-pennies worth
  19. Was it? (Metallic version of the Kuro BTW - called Ebisu, but often hard to tell in other than bright sunlight)

No question they fit a 350 but the offsets are quite different and I suspect you would need to play around with spacers. Although they might look good, if you don't get the set up right they could ruin the handling.
