    New pics of my car

They're definitely Superleggeras, I had them on my last car. Just the non-split rim version.
  3. And Orange - carbon kevlar stylee!!
  4. Surely the whole point of modding a car is you want to change / upgrade bits that you think can look better, weigh less, feel nicer, sound better etc. The theme being you! Go for what you want, just might make selling on more or less easy. And if it's real CF stuck on well, I wonder how many could tell whether it's real or not........??
  5. Just hope Chris Bangle and his merry men didn't design that too!!

    New pics of my car

Looks great mate! I was hoping no one had put those wheels on one yet, but not surprised someone has. That was going to be my New Year present to myself!!
  7. Thats interesting, so i can just take the bottom bit off and reach up? Not if you've got headlight washers, the bumper needs removing as when you get behind there, there is no room to get to the screws to release the existing ones.
  8. Looking nice, a black one with a nice shine is always good!
  9. Does look good with the Nismo on it!! Can the kit be got and fitted after market very easily / reasonably??
  10. Me too, and bought a car that had been very poorly done too (it didn't last long!). My point was only that a respray is pretty much out of the control of Nissan GB, or the arm of Nissan that manufactures them.
  11. I also did it on the diesel S40 we had on BP Ultimate and the same result. Completely agree, not an exact science at all but an indicator. Did it both ways too (Optimax - 95 RON and 95 RON - Optimax).
  12. Should be the 10th mate. As for any speed, I'm sure there's one that has and Origin / Road Angel contraption we can stick up front as an advance warning system!! I dont but can get one if need be, its on the christmas list too as you cant be too careful these days A good friend of mine runs a company specialising in these things. I'll not post his details up for trading rules but will get him to contact the mods. Otherwise I'll PM anyone the details if that's allowed. EDIT: Just spoken to him and he should be contacting the mods for trading.
  13. I also did a test on the Volvo between a tank of Optimax (as was) and standard Shell fuel. The car did go 10% further on the tank. Not an exact science I grant you, but that's how I found it.
  14. Should be the 10th mate. As for any speed, I'm sure there's one that has and Origin / Road Angel contraption we can stick up front as an advance warning system!!
  15. I'd blame them without a doubt!
  16. Digsy will be OK his is undercoat colour to start with PS Rob, I do realise that the colour won't effect the strength but I wondered whether Nissan had taken the opportunity to play with the mix at the same time given all the paint problems experienced on the Zed. As a small level of defence, use Auto Glym Ultra Gloss Protection to provide some level of protection against the nasty stones!
  17. If it's coming via FM it'll never hit heavy bass mate!! Thats a very true point there!!! Grrrrr, oh well, i dont listen to loud music anyway, its all about the engine TBH, iPod generally won't get you the same sound quality as a CD anyway. Especially with the cables they give you to connect them. That said, the laser in the Zed isn't great.....! Anyway, does this have any implications on radar jammers??
  18. Nah mate, those Redex bottles give ya anuva 20 break......!! Interesting post, bought back some memories of my physics A level!! lol
  19. If it's coming via FM it'll never hit heavy bass mate!!
  20. http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x ... &ay=107500 Or 5!
  21. lol - if only Mike!! With burglary, car stolen, £120 Zed clamping rip off, oven blowing up (needing new kitchen!), electricity board digging up the front garden (after oven blowing up!), shower going bang, gearbox going on Volvo and this, I reckon I've been done for the decade or so!!
  22. Just an update, sold last week and all sorted. Pleased but also gutted that 6 years worth of polishing, detailing etc. have gone, but there you go. All in the name of progress! Just so you can all rest easy about my luck in 2006, the Elise got hit by a 40 tonner last week, at slow speed but the off side rear wheel and rear clam shell certainly won't be in use again! Initial quotes are about £3.5k to get it sorted, good eh!!
  23. To be fair Tom, that's not a Zed issue as you have put, that's resprays that can affect any car.
  24. not just Nissans suffer from this , most low sports cars I have owned seem to get their fair share of chips , the Porsche Boxster S I borrowed at the weekend was peppered... ask the lads who saw it . plus the wheels had corroded to buggery.. all at 40K miles (worse than any Zed I've seen ) Completely agree Tim, and the Elise and current loan car (MX5 - BEHAVE!!) which only have 200 miles on the clock is falling foul of stone chips. Low cars will tend to get more, especially our sportier numbers being pushed through the air at greater velocity than average I suspect!
