  1. Maybe p/x the 6 against a new car (assuming you will be replacing it with something)
  2. As an initial starting point I would say get it assessed by a dealer. Granted they won't offer you a brilliant price but it would be a start and 'in theory' would be a hassle free sale. The link isn't working for me btw....takes me to my unread posts.
  3. Two good friends and I have entered the Scumball 3000. It is an across Europe 'race' for charity! We bought a Vauxhall Calibra but had an unfortunate incident in that the cambelt went and the engine has gone bang!! All this leads me to this....we need to find a new car to take part in the event! Main features are that is can only be up to the value of £500 and has to be big enough for 3 people plus gear...spare wheel, luggage, beer etc..... Any ideas??
  4. That's funny, so does mine!!

Have mentioned this to a mate and he has asked how much for the sideskirts and springs including delivery to Surrey if they are still available?? Cheers!
  7. Car looks awesome mate! Congrats! Enjoy the Pod on Sunday
  8. Sorry guys, i'm not going to make it this time, have simply got way too much on and i'm not 100% at the moment either. Have a good one chaps.
  9. Wicked picture Stuey! Gotta love the deep dish! Is that budget with or without tyres mate??? I believe I am correct in saying that the wheels on the Lambo are Lambo wheels so won't fit the Z
  10. I don't know the ins & outs of the techical side of it but I use D-Link as well and haven't had any problems at all.
  11. Some wheels you have to reverse mount because of lips etc, it all depends on the style of wheel. Jay, when you say he moved the tyre round he was probably lining it up. You will see there is a yellow dot on the sidewall, this is supposed to be in line with the valve so the wheel/tyre combo is as pre-balanced as it can be without the need for excess weights to be fitted.
  12. That's excellet for a 4x4. Our Jeep used to do about 28mpg on a motorway. The Range Rover is more like 24 mpg.... Ouch!
  13. My brothers just sold a '55 plate fully loaded black Touareg for just over £21k. Very nice cars mate but he found it pretty poor on the fuel consumption. It was the 2.5d and struggled to make 35mpg on a motorway run. Could have just been his one and his driving style though.
  14. I'd check the fitments as well. At the last time of checking, I didn't think they did them in the offset for the Z (unless you have a non-Brembo setup)
  15. Just had a girl on my local forum have a major problem with her wheels literally falling off her car. She wasn't sure what it was at first but it turns out that the wheels have been recently sprayed and in short the paint in the lug holes acted as a lube to undo the nuts and hence the wheels coming off. Seems from the following link as well where the wheels have been powdercoated, it isn't an isolated incident! http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/showthread.php?t=2255 Thought it would be worth the heads up in case anyone has/is thinking of spraying/powdercoating their own wheels.
  16. Nissan Navara....slot some 24's straight on there!
  17. Tough break dude. Afraid I can't offer any advice but hope it works out for you....certainly a tricky one!
  18. Have you got any interior shots?
  19. Very nice mate! Good choice of colour as well
  20. Your tyres sound like they could have thrown a balancing weight which would account for a juddering at say over 70 mph or so. As far as it pulling to the left, I would probably have a guess that it is your tracking. Have you hit any big holes or kerbs or anything that might have thrown it out? If I were you, I would get it down a local garage, get them to rebalance your wheels and check the tracking. Shouldn't cost you a huge amount for the piece of mind.
  21. I have one fo these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DOOR-UPHOLSTERY-AND-TRIM-REMOVAL-TOOL-car-repair_W0QQitemZ150165458962QQihZ005QQcategoryZ30917QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem It had never let me down so far and I know others on here have the same thing. Can bring it out to the next meet if you want.
  22. I am so jealous you're going to see the race!!! Got a spare ticket?? Have to agree though, the guy is a legend although I do feel his head is getting a little too big in the last few weeks. He still has a lot of growing up to do when it comes to the media imo.
  23. No problem, I have plenty of spares anyway. It records onto the 8cm disc.
  24. I have a Sony DCR-TRV255E and a Sony HDR-UX1 if they are any good for the formats you need?
